EA Sports have a knack of churning out quality sports games,NHL2005 is another.All you would expect of an ice hockey game with nice subtle touches(referee lifting himself out of the way of the puck,players loosing their sticks.)Game play is quick,hits are hard and different ways to put the puck in the net.The one thing lets it down,you can't create your own player(s) as in the previous NHL series.The new 'open ice support' i'm finding a bit tricky to use and there isn't much information on how to use it in the instructions.But these few niggles aside...lots of fun!

I Brought 2004 and it was great so i went and brought 2005 on the pc and it is even better the graphics and kits are great and well worth the money this game is in a new generation. The one problem i have with this game is the scoring you run down the wing and quickly pass it in 4 a onetimer as the defense on the easy two levels is great so it hard to do those classy goals which leads to the problem that the shooting or ways to get really classy but simple goals is difficult otherwise it is a great game and well worth the money.
