I compose music on Reaper on Ubuntu 16.04 Linux via wine. Previously, I had used my mouse to click and drop notes. I bought this keyboard so I could control my MIDI input in a bit more freeing of a way. There is no native Linux version of the Nektar DAW that seamlessly integrates this controller with reaper (like there is for Windows and MacOS).HOWEVER, I got it working through wine! This is what I did:1) Install Reaper through wine2) Install the "windows 10" version of the nektar DAW through wine3) Follow the instructions for "windows installation" in the supplied manualThis is incredible, the full midi keyboard is working, and the control buttons are working seamlessly!I don't think there is a better plug-and-play option out there for Linux, highly recommend if you want this for Linux.

In my opinion, this is the best MIDI keyboard controller for use with Studio One (v3.5 in my case). As well as being a nice synth keyboard, it works well with Control Link in both global and local modes, with controls already set up for instrument parameters, effect parameters, track navigation, ADSR shaping, and DAW transport. As a bonus it came with Bitwig 8-track so I've got two new toys to play with! I honestly don't know how they can do it for the price.

First off, the keys pretty much make me orgasm when I press them. They feel soooooo good, damn near like a real piano! I use this with fl studio 20 and the midi options accommodate everything on the interface. It does more than I always expecting to be honest, and you really cant deny the price for such a quality product. I'll check back in a couple months with an update since it seems others have some issues with it after a while.

I'm happy with this purchase, and I love the built-in DAW control (I primarily use GarageBand), but the keys themselves are a little springy, so if you're looking for piano-like action, this is not the keyboard for you. That said, after updating the velocity profile, it plays fine. For the price, I'm very happy with this keyboard - it does everything I need it to, and then some.

The only problem I had was that it seemed like it was open and returned due to the packaging. It seemed in mint condition so I didn't return. The money I paid was for a new item thought. Overall, I'm impressed with this controller. It has a nice solid build. It easily set up in FL Studio. Most impotrantly, the keys do not have a springy noise like the Akai Pro 49 I had.

Great purchase. Worth the money for sure. This is a good beginner rig because it comes with the board and a DAW program bitwig 8 track which is just about everything you need... I bought a stand and a sustain pedal to go with... Not the best pads but they aren't horrible... I personally use this for playing worship team and it works pretty great for that purpose

I still cannot believe how easy this has been to use. Mostly I use it with Presonus Studio One V4. I just plugged it in (before loading studio one) and it was there and available. Octave keys work perfectly. It has been awhile since I’ve used a MIDI controller and expect to have some config hassle with drivers, but everything truly just took care of itself.

It works well. I dont need about half of the integration features like the oscillators and probably would have bought a Roland A 49 for less $ but the Nektar works well. The keys are decent. The sounds you get nowadays are all computer based so that is not really an issue. I would recommend this at about 130$ . It will go on sale at some point.

Plug in and play. It's that easy if using Bitwig. Drum pads are sensitive and easy to assign. Works seamlessly with Bitwig DAW. Lightweight and plastic but works as a solid midi controller. Controls matchup great with software. Dials work great for quickly dialing in sound, making music couldn't be more productive. I love it.

This midi keyboard has a great fey-press feel and is simple to install to FL Studio. I googled the installation instructions and was using it in less than 5 minutes. I have yet to explore all the pads, knobs, and sliders, but in the brief time I used it so far, the unit seems very solid, almost professional.Love it!

I've seen alot of reviews from people who are clearly making mistakes and taking the ignorance out on the review. So make sure you filter threw and don't listen to most people on here writing reviews. This thing works great, and is very simple to set up. It feels nice and is accurate. I love it.

if youre making anything that is gonna utilize those pads, youll be so happy you chose this controller. they feel amazing and are super responsive. I wish the keys were a liiiiitle bit weightier, but you get what you pay for. make sure you download the RIGHT driver!

Decent controller keyboard considering the price you pay for it (£125 for me), absolutely no complaints. The smart DAW integration - with Reason 10 at least - seems pretty intuitive so far, and allows you to dive in and get creative quickly. Recommended!

Great keyboard with lots of controls. Nektar provides easy configuration apps for many dawsL my LX49+ works very well in Studio One and Reaper, with OK integration with Tracktion/Waveform.It's light, but still feels like a quality device.
