I have a number of software synths on my iPad but until I bought this I had no real way of playing them properly (read, messing about with them!). This was designed to pair with iOS devices, and it does so perfectly. You'll hear and read about people going on about latency, and that's right, it's a thing. But, what most people with latency issues do is make the mistake of also having the speaker be wireless. That's too much. If you have this keyboard connected using Bluetooth LE, and then either use the speakers in the ipad or plug directly into the aux input on some speakers, you'll experience pretty much negligible latency. Is there any at all? Sure, a tiny bit, but I'm not a high-speed concert pianist,

I've a digital piano for proper playing, but when it comes to entering simple tracks into sequencer or scoring software, nothing's better or more immediate than a little keyboard on your desktop. Whether using Sonar, Sibelius, or something else, multi-part orchestrations and synth tracks and vocal notes that don't need the full span of an 88 note piano are quickly and accurately executed on the microKEY. The keys are small but not painfully so (though I have small fingers!). The velocity sensitivity is good on the default and adjustable to 10 settings in software. The stick provides a valuable XY interface for many synths and instruments to get the most from them. Build quality is pretty robust.

I find this MIDI Controller to be just the thing I needed for my music production. :) I can get my ideas down quickly and then fine tune them in my DAW's MIDI Piano Roll. Typically I can have an idea, then lose it because it would have took too long just to manually draw in the notes and length, and it's just so much faster with a MIDI Controller. It's got 2 octaves, a Modulation/Pitch Shift analogue stick, octave shifting buttons, a simple single note arpeggiator and a sustain button with tap functions to control the rate of the arpeggiator. It's got a fairly good feel, despite it's small size. It connects through USB, and supports anything that uses MIDI input.

Well for four years I've been looking for a midi controler that is compatible with my O.S.I tried M-Audio Oxygen the silver one but it only worked with certain demos and software, I even tried the cheap RockBand 3 keyboard that boasted midi compatibility.I love 1980s synth music and was nearly going to go for Arturias Minilab but was detered because of the bad reviews with compatibility and possible purchase of the Steinberg key, too much faffing about to get something to work.Korg has been around since the 1980s and reviews looked great, I went to their website to check compatibility and ordered the Korg Micro key 25 cos I want to travel around with it. I'm very pleased it works with every peice of software,

For what it is, it’s really great. It’s unbelievably light, plastic but the main body of it still has a sturdy feel. Doesn’t feel hollow and there isn’t much “extra space”. You can tell they took time into trying to only give you what you need but in a good way. Design and aesthetics don’t have a wow factor but the thing has ble midi and can be battery powered so you can connect to your tablet or computer without wires! The speed and stability of the ble midi connection is indistinguishable from a wired connection *for the most part* (a few variables like devices around you tx/rx on the same spectrum causing interference, your computers drivers,

Amazon sent me the MicroKEY Air by mistake :-) They're almost the same, only the Air means you can play the Korg pianos (and other instruments) from you ipad or ipod without directly connecting the instrument. This works very well, so if you want Air ability, I recommend paying the extra (or hope that Amazon make another mistake).The Mirco keys on both the Korg Microkey and Mircrokey Air are nicely sprung and the size works well unless you have very fat fingers. I struggle a bit on octaves when adapting from the full size keyboard, but you get there eventually.Key size White key = 1,85cm x7.9cm: Black key 8mm x 4.2cm (before tapering down to the white keys).The piano software is good.

I got this used here. At first there were a couple of issues with my software when I tried installing the midi driver. After a computer system restore, the problem cleared up and got me right to the keyboard. I really like the keyboard it has a bit if a squishy feel to the keys almost like a plastic underlay but it's something I got use to quickly and it actually feels kind of posh. The key size was my next concern (being a micro keyboard) but this was not an issue either, the keys are responsive and appropriate sized for smaller keys. I have a yamaha pss 270 from back in the 80s and the keys are definitely larger and more workable than the yamaha's. The only thing I would warn against is using it for performance,

This keyboard works really well. It has mini keys that are not too mini. They have a nice feel to them. They are fully velocity sensitive. This keyboard is available in 3 sizes, I chose the medium 37 key one, which is perfect. You plug this keyboard into a normal USB port on your computer and it just works. (The keyboard has no sounds of course, you have to connect it to something). There are two versions of this keyboard, the normal one and the "Air" one. The normal one may be all you need. The Air's wireless connection is nice, but it means you need to add batteries. You may as well just plug in the normal one. Even with IOS devices, it's easy to get an adaptor to plug the normal USB lead in.

I bought this keyboard so I could practice at work when it was slow. It's very compact and lightweight and I'm honestly glad I didn't settle for 49 keys because the 61 is still SO compact.. I will say though bluetooth was a PAIN connecting to Windows 10.. I hope it helps others but it seems like when it pairs but doesn't want to stay connected, just use the wired USB connection, and then once connected you might get a pop up about 'enabling the driver' or something and when I do that and then try bluetooth again and this time it stays connected.. The truth is Windows 10 has just had bluetooth problems for a while now so its not entirely Korg's fault.. There actually is a slight latency with bluetooth (on Windows 10)

Got this Korg microKey keyboard and I am very pleased with it. It worked after making a few adjustments with Making Music 14 and made a huge difference to the way I work with music programs without taking up much space. I also like the way the joystick enhances sounds (something that's very hard to duplicate with a mouse).However, the included software is not worth the trouble to download. OMG the number of Software pins, authorisation codes and licences for each piece of free software is amazing! I mean, they are giving the software away for free with the keyboard so why all this security? Then, when you finally get the software unlocked it is so crippled that it's hardly worth using.

This thing is absolutely perfect for what I needed. Very small footprint, tad bigger than 15" x 5". Lightweight, but feels pretty solid. Key action is very good for its size and price, considerably better than my Akai MPK Mini. Bluetooth connection to my iPad went without a hitch; I was up and running with KORG Gadget literally seconds after installing the batteries and turning it on. A heads up -- it does require their editor to be installed and used on a Mac/PC along with a USB connection (cable is included) if you want to change its default MIDI settings/keyboard velocity curve, which I find to be a bit awkward. Maybe an iOS app to do this over bluetooth isn't feasible.

I was scared at first, I thought it would feel like toy. I also didn't really like the mixed reviews. So I held off on buying it for many months. Then one day out of the blue I ordered it because I did need a large keyboard with a small form factor that's portable. This blew me away from the minute I got it. If you compare it to the popular Akai LPK 25 for example, each key is roughly the same size, but the keys on the Korg have much less resistance it feels like they're twice as easy to press. In fact, it's easier to press than any of my midi controllers. And this is major point, because of this light key action, combined with small keys, it's just so easy to play and maneuver around,

I bought this keyboard to use with my Toontrack drum software, since my main, full size keyboard is not ideal for drums as it's weighted and thus more suited to piano playing.The microKey worked straight out the box, though I did later download the driver for it from the Korg site as this was recommended in the manual, not that I've seen any difference so far. Also from Korg you can download the Korg Kontrol Editor which lets you save and load settings on the keyboard such as note ranges etc.The keyboard has a soft but firm feel and has the build quality you expect from Korg products. There are two up/down octave buttons, sustain and arpeggiator buttons and a joystick controller with X+Y movement mapping to keyboard pitch bend/modulation wheels.

I wanted a high quality no-frills wireless MIDI keyboard to practice 'electric piano' on anywhere, using either Garageband or the bundled KORG Le 2 synth software. After a necessary firmware update to connect to iOS13 via Bluetooth I've found it perfect - connects to all of my Apple devices straight away without issue, no latency I can detect and the 2x AA batteries have lasted a good while so far.I'm also using it with (separate purchase) of Simply Piano iPad app where it connects directly via MIDI rather than listening via the iPad microphone.I like that it's so portable & light but still sturdy,

I needed something to demo some tracks for a new band project. Got zero space for gear at home so I am tracking everything with soft synths in Reaper. I needed something compact, cheap and not rubbish. This little beast is just perfect for playing in basslines and hammond licks, chords etc... The keys feel nice and the action is responsive. The octave keys light up system is simple and intuitive. The size is perfect , I can lay it across my laptop trackpad area (I use a usb mouse) and with some headphones on and some tasty Kontakt libraries I have a studio on my coffee table.It would be worth the money just for the keyboard but it also comes with some great free plugins,
