I have had no problems with using this at all, and consider it a real bargain, especially as the free software means you have everything you need to create music and export files. One thing I feel I should mention - I notice that if I connect the keyboard to a standard USB port on my computer then I experience problems similar to those described in the not-so-good reviews, where a time delay makes 'real time' recording impossible. However if I connect to 'SS' (superspeed) USB ports then I experience no problem. The keyboard is also powered directly via the USB cable - although a power adaptor is optional (needs to be purchased separately),so I wonder if using a power adapter might help with some of the other reported problems.

Well, I've been using this controller for about a month now. What I have to say is don't buy this controller solely for pads (very tricky to play on them properly, I need to push them on sides otherwise it's too hard and I can't concentrate on proper rhythm) . Keyboard is springy and alright I guess for that size. This whole hyper-something thing for for me very well in ableton, you can do a lot of stuff actually. Overall, for 60quids and brand new it's 4/5 for me. Works, ableton live lite was very good addition . Buy thinking about using it as a Daw controller than controller for drums or keyboard

Its a nice little keyboard. I chose it basically because I compose using logic and since I only have a laptop and its a little restricting trying to compose with the keyboard on a computer I needed something smaller but with a good amount of keys. The keys are smaller than standard keys but you quickly get used to that, one thing I can't get used to however is the feel of them. I personally don't like the responsive nature of the keys, although they are velocity sensitive I struggle to judge what velocity its going to output based on how I play.

Took a while to get the hypercontrols working and the support from m - audio was useless, hence 4 stars. Was going to send it back and then had a breakthrough and it works like a dream. I'm using cubase elements 7 and basically when you install the hypercontrol software it makes a new cubase 7 folder. Shift the file into the cubase elements folder and your off! Shame the support couldn't tell me this - Glad I didn't return it now cos it's great!

A most excellent keyboard for the price, looks great, feels great.Knobs are highly sensitive but you get used to that after a few days.I have found that because it looks a lot cooler than many other midi keyboards i want to play it more than i usually would a basic pc keyboard.Anyway, overall i loved it and for the bargain price of 179.99 i would say that you cant go wrong.

I would recommend looking at all the comments to see what software works with the product, although the software which comes with it is perfectly fine.Advantages- Software was downloadable- Well made- Has great sounds on the system- Very good for the amount of moneyDisadvantages- Collects dust- Software Ignite has crashed on me twice but other than that it's fine

Windows driver installed - check, Axiom plugged-in and turned-on - check, firmware updated - check, Ignite software downloaded and installed - check. And bingo - everything up and running and talking straight-away. This is a fairly sizable 25 key midi keyboard, but it does feel great. I'm very much an amateur, but I'm very impressed so far. Incredible value for money.

Nice piece of kit if a little plastic and light weight. The keys are mini (as per description) and have no weight but are spring loaded. The pads feel responsive and the knobs map well to ableton or ipad software. Only had a short play with the software that came with it (ignite) but seems a pretty straight forward lightweight DAW

If your looking for a midi keyboard sequencer for your home recording studio and on a budget then look no further. Used with Ableton live lite ( provided in the package as a download) the combination is awesome. Add a guitar interface and microphone and you have everything you need......

Small and light, ideal for travels. It works perfectly fine on Win10 with Ignite. The pads are not very sensitive, I have to push hard on them to get a sound. And I got it for £30, so I am really happy with the good quality.

Nice keyboard all works with caustic on android including the hyper controls. Also it only takes a micro type B cable which is included not Micro USB unfortunately.

Wen I saw it I fort it was Too small but you can jam out on it and play chords and play bass lines really fast I like it , if you stuck for space it’s brilliant

Really responsive pads for the price and the ignite software is extremely compatible with windows. Versatile and adaptive keyboard by M-Audio, great stuff.

Awesome piece of kit, great if you know how to root all of the midi function in software such as Cubase or Pro tools.
