Something that's perhaps a better idea than practicality, but nonetheless it's still decent if used in the right circumstances.Something I was worried about is the addition of air if you're using with a child big enough to fit the whole spoon in their mouth - quite a lot of air goes in with the food as well. For pushing the food out first on to the spoon then feeding, it's fine, but we have noticed the air problem (and it's after effects of gassing up a child!)As others have said, annoying the lack of microwave-ability, which would make traveling with it a lot easier.But for our 9 month old that's moving on to food but not yet solids, it's that perfect age range and type of food that this is ideal for.

This is brilliant if you have a baby who is fussy with its food. Our granddaughter really hates eating. So we tried this on her and she was a lot better. Made things so much easier. We found this easy to hand was in warm soapy water. And I sterilised the top. For early puree style feeding, this squeezy silicone bulb is just the job. Take off the spoon cover, unscrew the top and fill the blue container with the prepared and ready meal. When reassembled, gently press out the food on to the spoon as required. The small opener claims to make no mess, but in our experience it can be said it truly does reduce mess considerably, anyway.As the food container is in your hand you can test the temperature as you feed the child. It is easy to control and a doddle to wash and sterilise.A brilliant idea.

These items were new to me until recently when I saw my daughter feeding little Stevie (aged 6 months) with a similar one. She basically made his lunch (in the blender) and was then able to feed him when out and about using it. The beauty of the design is that the food only gets inside the spoon and not underneath (as happens when scooping from a bowl) so mess is greatly reduced when feeding little mouths. She said that this feeder is better than the cheaper item she used as it is less inclined to block so happy days (and baby).

This concept is quite a good idea - and avoids a bowl of food being chucked or knocked onto the floor!...It does work well for anything that doesn't have much texture.There is a slight problem if there are any slight lumps or bumps.... This is because it can get clogged and the food won't then squeeze through onoto the spoon.It must be noted that you shouldn't microwave this at all!Good though perhaps a little gimmicky.

OMG! This is so so great and helpful! I am sorry for not ordering one sooner. The only downside is that the hole is very small. I blended some banana and a very small piece apparantely didn’t get blended well enough and it got stuck so I had to stop feeding the baby and try to unclog the thing. So if you use this, the food has to be extremely smooth! But overall a great item! It frees one hand which is amazing.

Got this for a friend who has just started her little girl on solids and she was very pleased with it. It is from a reputable brand, is well made and finished. Excellent idea for when you are on the go and have a little one to feed. Should help to keep the mess to a minimum and isn't a huge price to pay if your baby turns out not to like it.

It's a good food dispensing spoon for stage 1 and 2 feeding.Pros:Easy to clean and use.Not too much messgreat for on the goCons:The white "neck" piece isn't removable. If you remove it - it's impossible to put back on. As it's permanently attached it's difficult to wash underneath.

It's so convenient, well designed and easy to use. I get compliment and people asking where I got from every time we go out in public. One of the best baby products I've ever come across ever. I would recommend it to any new mother out there. "must buy" worth every penny.

My one arrived in a pink colour, very suitable for a recent girl baby addition to the family. This is a good idea, and will be useful when she soon graduates to baby food. Handy to carry around, and easy to clean too. I'm surprised nobody had thought of it before.

We puree up vegetables very softly and this is then a dream to use with little one, you simply fill the bulb and press gently. Our daughter loves the spoon tip which is soft but not too flexible. Dishwashes fine as well. Recommended.

I have never used one of these before but this is a nifty little gadget to have in your armoury of helpful things when you are on the go with your young child. It is easy to clean, has a handy spoon cover and can be sterilised too.

This clever gadget is a godsend.You can squeeze just the correct amount of grub onto the little spoon.No muss, no fuss. Hopefully you will not end up wearing more food than you can get down the little ones neck.Its so clever

So far I have used only once and it's so easy to hold and feed the baby.. I feel the size is perfect for feeding and it is so effortless.. Cleaning was really easy too.. Quite surprised seeing negative reviews though..

What a lovely little feeder.Well made and I trust the munchkin brand.Great for travel in particular. Load it up with a home made puree and you are away. Simple, easy and convenient.,
