this was a brilliant variation of the monopoly game, i bought it for my stepson as we visit york reguarly normally but due to lock down cant at moment so thought this might console him a bit. It did the job. he loved "visiting" all his favourite haunts, the railway museum, Shambles etc. had great fun playing it. i think the only thing negative i can think of is that the peices could have been different maybe a viking helmet rather than a top hat, or a dinosaur instead of the cat, although the cat is relevant to york of course.

I would recommend this game to everyone, especially if you like York, Its excellent , My husband and I have a lot of fun playing with it. The board with its familiar set up was great and the cards supplied for chance and community chest were updated.I could imagine myself in York ! Its great , my compliments to the designer.It arrived well in time for Christmas as it was a present for my husband as it relates to his favourite city!

I am fan of regular monopoly, so when I needed a new set, seeing as I used to live in York, it had to be this. I think it's great, I recognise everything there - only reason not 5 stars is the use of advertising on site squares, like the press, the boat rides and the radio station etc but overall still great

Love Monoply. Have a few different boards and thought we should finally get our own town! They still argue, cheat and the game still can go on for days but its still ever the classic game in our house and this one is a great version with having All the great places in York on the board.

However, we had ordered the wrong one! Having typed 'NEW York Monopoly into the Amazon search, the first game listed was 'York' Monopoly, which I hastily ordered. On delivery, I sent it back at once and ordered the correct game, but this one did look good.

I put New York monopoly into amazon search, this came up and I didn't realise until the parcel arrived! Felt very stupid, sent game back & ordered the correct version! I have rated the item as if it were any monopoly game.

This arrived really quickly and was much appreciated as a Christmas gift by a person who loves playing games when we all get together. It's great that it consisted of local landscapes and places of interest in York

We brought this as a 2020 Lockdown treat for ourselves to help pass the time. My husband is from York and it’s a city that we both love. We really enjoyed playing this and would recommend as a gift or a treat.

Bought this as a family Christmas present to treat ourselves. We go to York every year on holiday so this was a lovely reminder of the places we go to. Added to the game saying we “owned” our favourite sites!

Great game based on the original board. I don't think it needs quite so much decoration in the centre as it confuses players with too much information. But saying that, it was enjoyable none the less.

Perfect for a local lad. All the landmarks from York you'd expect. Great to play with the family. Probably the only chance most locals will get to afford a house in York.

Great classic game but with local connections hours of fun needs community chest update to pay for fines going over lendal bridge.then later bank pays you back your fine

Brilliant game - I went to university in York and it really takes you back. Excellent quality game, really good choice of landmark for each section. Very impressed.
