I was so looking forward to playing this and enjoying it when I started it but I wish I'd read the reviews here and all over the Net too. It is widely known (obviously not by me at the time I bought it) for not saving on many systems and there is even an updated version out that solves this problem. Why is this version still being sold by Amazon then? I suppose it 'works' and there is no other problem with it so technically Amazon isn't defying any trading standards but unless you are willing to stay up the whole night it isn't worth playing which is a shame because the 2 hours I lost playing it were great. Very naughty indeed, I am deeply unimpressed.

I noticed that a few people have rated the game as one star purely because they haven't been able to save their progress in the game however, I may have the solution:My Mother has this game, (she didn't buy it from Amazon, it was from Wilkinson's) and she was enjoying the game until she found she couldn't save it. She contacted the game company (I assume, this is what she told me anyway) and they said that many people have had problems with the game not saving and so to get around it, you right click the game's icon on the desktop and 'Run As Administrator' and low and behold, her game now saves. Try this method before dismissing the game.

The game is certainly worth 5 stars, however the biggest flaw is that the game does not save from your last position. I have played this game on two different computers and the result is the same. You start off giving yourself a name and off you go to play. Then you decide to exit the game. When you return you indeed pick up from where you last left off, but when you exit a second time and go back in, the game has not remembered where you left off. So you have to play it agaain from your first exit point.My advice, play it in one go.

The Salem Witch trials all over again. Some of the minigames are quite tricky but the hidden objects are just enough to keep the brain going. I think Midnight Mysteries are my favourite hidden objects games so far and I own dozens.

So far so good. Not an intuitive game, so some of the puzzles are harder due to just not being able to figure the use for an object (we're not mind readers, and it's a game, not a serious puzzle).Good looking game though.

I really enjoyed this game and so did my 5 year old son! The only thing wrong with it was it wasn't long enough, just wanted more. Have played it over and over again.

I'm a huge fan of these games but this one restarted from different points if I hadn't played it for a few days still good fun great graphics and intriging puzzles

I really enjoyed this game.It was quite difficult but I did manage to finish the game &found it quite consuming.I would recommend this game to anyone

engaging game play, made me wish my memory was better, found items to use but couldn't always remember where I needed to use them!
