IIt was so good! Not quite the way I expected it to be because I have the three newer games they've produced in the midnight mysteries line, but the story made some things in the other games finally make sense. The story itself was so good. It made me think and wonder what could be happening next.It opens with a plot about the player was a mystery writer that hadn't published any books in ten years. Edgar Allan Poe comes in and outlines that he needs your help to put his killer to justice in the afterlife. And the plot thickets from there.I really enjoyed the game, but there were some downside also. Sometimes, it was incredibly vauge when trying to discover your next step on solving the mystery.

As an adult gamer, I look for something that is not heavily taxing on the brain cells, but something that is entertaining and interactive. You can play some, put it away and then come back to it. The graphics are great and the "interactive" is fun (yes, a little bit of thinking, but NOT frustrating!). This is not a "just find the hidden object" (HOG) game. I have played it 3 times and have now put it away for a future date. This was well worth the price I paid and more. I anxiously await more of the Midnight Mysteries (or something similar!). If you are looking for a game that makes you think and think, and one that will take you days and days, then this is not for you.

this game talk about what happened to Poe...along the game you pick up the raven. each raven you pick allows you to get hints...eerie...talk to ghost...help them..visted several places and rooms..solve the mystery and help the ghost you meet...absolutely a game to have...another good one to play at night....good graphics and story line...loved it...seemss midnight mystery series have great people working to make their game interesting with great graphics...another msut have...

Very fun game with nice spooky scenes. The puzzles were a little too easy and they prompt a little fast but all in all very entertaining.I was in the mood for something a little spooky but not too challenging and this fit the bill. When I say spooky Im not talking about Lost Crown spooky just maybe Goosebumps style spooky.

This game is really great and it does take time to find things as well as make you look for many clues. There are three sections to the game in order to solve all the mysteries of Poe. I had enjoyed it and played it twice. You should give this a try. I'd like more of these games. (JV)

At first I was dissapointed that this was just a seek and find game for kids, however as I started playing it, I found it meditative with good graphics. I would prefer that adventure games would be better clasified into categories but that is not fault of this game, hence the 5 stars.

This game is perfect for anyone that just wants to relax and not strain their brain. Sometimes it's refreshing to just enjoy a game with beautiful graphics and no stress trying to solve puzzles. It's just easy fun.

I really like this game. This game story isn't predictable. The disk plays pretty well. It freezes sometimes when I try to start the game over again with a new player name. Overall, it's a good quality disk.

This is a very nice HOG (hidden-object game) that I've played twice now. It was a cheap treat for me, and would be so for any 7 to 10 year old. I really liked the basis on actual history.

It arrived a few days ahead of schedule and my husband loves it! The story is interesting and the hidden objects are a tad challenging due to the old fashioned terms.

I loved this game! Besides being an enjoyable game it also brought up several questions about the life and death of Poe himself.

Very well made Hidden Object game. I really enjoyed this one. Perfect level of difficulty and very good graphics!

I really like hinden object games and this one was fun with lots of clues to find to get to the next level

This was bought as a Christmas gift. They love it, there are all sorts of puzzles within the game.
