I bought this bag to hold my Canon 70D and two lenses. It’s a great bag with loads of room. The camera compartment has 6 adjustable areas which are well padded. The middle area of the gear compartment has extra padding for your camera. If you have a DSLR you would be able to fit 1 camera with attached lens + 3 average sized lenses and 1 flash or a pankcake lens. If you are on Sony full frame you would be able to fit about the same, I say this as Sony's full frame lenses are comparable in size to DSLR's crop-sensor lenses. If you are on micro-four-thirds or Sony crop-sensor you could probably fit an extra lens (or 2 if they are small). Just take my recommendations as guidelines as I only own a Canon crop-sensor camera. One thing I am certain of is that if you own a full-frame DSLR this is not the bag for you as (generally speaking) full-frame DSLR lenses are much larger than crop sensor lenses. The dimensions for the gear compartment are L: 33cm x W: 15cm x H: 19cm so you can see if your gear will fit. I cannot comment on the durability as I have only had it for one outing but I can tell you that after 30 minutes of having it on my back with a few things in the top section and my camera and 2 lenses in the bottom, my shoulders were hurting, as analysed in another Amazon review I read, I can only put this down to the lack of a waist strap. It only has an adjustable sternum strap. There is also no specific place to put the included rain cover. My Lowepro holster bag (by the way Lowepro bags are made by Manfrotto) has a little pocket for its. The last negative is that it isn't especially easy to take the camera out with it slung round to your front. Other than that it’s a great bag. Fab tripod attachment. It can be stood up without falling over, and is well padded at the back. I would recommend this bag to beginners/enthusiast who have a small kit they need to carry. If you are on the shorter side, I would recommend the version 1 as it is tapered at the top, otherwise go for the version 2 I have.

Disclaimer: I bought this bag for a non camera related purpose- I simply wanted a better thought out backpack, if photography is a primary concern hopefully my comments on built quality etc. are still somewhat relevant. The problem with many backpacks:Most backpacks are a series of simple compartments sewn together, the unfortunate side-effect is you can organise your bag and whilst travelling every item sags to the bottom of said compartment, quickly making your efforts a waste of time. In my case I wanted a bag to get through airport security easily with a tonne of gadgetry to get my through a 10 hour flight- for this purpose the bag is fantastic.Construction:An excellently thought out bag with great quality materials.I have no doubt it will last many years without any issues as every zipper, lining and detail seems well secured in place.Layout:The bottom section, like most camera bags, is easily configurable with padded hook-and-loop dividers- the section can be fully removed from the backpack meaning very easy retrieval of items at the back and sorting stuff in the field. Otherwise the two top sections are roomy enough to fit in large headphones (excellent for a videographer) and plenty of chargers etc. This is a really nice layout. The only criticism I can direct at the bag for layout: If you want anything larger than a book you'd need to use the laptop section as everywhere else is too shallow (understandable).Comfort:Of primary concern- I wore it around an airport for several hours, carrying about 9kgs in it at the time. I found the backpack to be really comfortable, the weight felt distributed evenly when I wore both shoulder straps, despite the weight distribution being fairly bottom heavy.Summary:Comfortable, well built and well thought-out. Obviously there are less expensive options around but when looking at the competitors in the flesh I felt this was the best for build quality- I'm glad I chose it.

I don't usually write a lot of reviews as I don't really have the time. However, this backback has impressed me a lot so I thought I'd just say that I really enjoy using it so far. It is well made, holds off a bit of rain without having to put the rain cover on and most importantly fits all my photography gear.In the bottom compartment I can fit: Canon full frame body + 24 - 70 f.2.8, 50mm f1.4, 35mm f1.4, 85mm f1.8, 40mm f2.8, 430 EX II flash. The top compartment is quite big and fits a lot of bits and pieces such as filters, batteries, cables, lens hoods. I believe I would still be able to fit some food and maybe a light rain or fleece jacket. At the back is also a compartment for a laptop.I haven't tried it yet but it seems quite spacious too.The only little niggle I have is the tripod holder which is only really made for quite small tripods. Mine is a medium size and it would be quite fiddly to attach it to the side. However, if you are not using a tripod, the leg holder can be used for a drinks bottle.Quite neat.I am thoroughly recommending this back back also based on the price which is, if you compare it to others with similar features quite competitive.

The size of this backpack is ideal for a day trip with a small photo kit.Depending on the size of your camera / lenses you can fit up to 2 lenses + DSLR and connected lens.I'm usually using it with a Canon 6D + 24-105 + Hood and there is only room for another small lens, but it's good for my usual use on a day-long trip. The upper pocket is big enough to fit some food or a light jacket. The camera padding can be removed and the upper pocket size increases allowing to use the whole size of the backpack for a daily use.The laptop internal compartment is well padded and fits easily a 13" laptop. The tripod holder works well, but if you have a big tripod it will be very high above your head. Not a problem with small/medium tripods. The only negative point is the rain cover, which is not integrated in a dedicated pocket (like in some Lowepro backpacks).

There's plenty of room for my 2 Sony cameras and several lenses plus additional items such as a cleaning kit, my wallet and phone and other misc items in the top compartments. Bits of the compartments are adjustable so you can make space for bigger cameras & lenses although this is at the expense of space for misc items. I like everything about this apart from the fact that it doesn't have a waist strap/belt. The weight of camera & lenses is carried at the bottom of the bag therefore a waist belt/strap should be fitted to stop the bag from moving around. I bought a separate piece to attach to solve this problem but from this manufacturer I would have expected it to be on the bag already.

Used this recently on a trip to Majorca to carry my Fuji xt2 and 5 lenses.Very compact, but designed like a tardis. 2 additional pockets where you can store an iPad and a couple bottles of water/drinks etc, and a smaller compartment for keys, passports etc.Camera compartment is padded and well securedBag is comfy to carry on your back. Straps are well padded.Looks like a real rucksack, and no issues with both BA and easyJet bringing the bag on as hand luggage. Can also hold my Nikon d750 and a couple of lenses (24-120 & 70-200 f4) but I think this bag is designed for more the mirrorless setup.Didn't know what to expect with this bag but really pleased.

5 stars is a bit of a risk when I only just received it but it does look and feel like a quality product, as I would expect from Manfrotto. The top compartment is bigger than I expected from the pix so that's a bonus too. It isn'tt baggy and big, it's quite sleek and capacious, stands up on its own. It's not too chunky and macho for this senior lady either.I will be able to get my video camera in the bottom or the top. All up I would be able to get my lunch box, camera, scrunched up wet-proof jacket and sweater in plus a laptop and travel documents and some snacks. It's well padded and feels comfortable.A good dual purpose bag for dual purpose people. Like it.

I bought this bag for travelling in Alaska and Canada. It is a really good design with the bottom compartment opening like a concertina, this means that your camera and bits and pieces don't fall out or the top half doesn't fall heavily when open. The two top pockets are ok, there is just enough room for waterproofs and water. However the downside is that the whole item is so heavy even when empty. I have a similar bag that is a Lowpro and it is much lighter but doesn't have the concertina effect. Would I buy again? Possibly. My DH who carries my equipment for me was happy enough with it.

Finally got to go out, only have a small bridge camera with extra zoom lense to carry. With anothe baby camera. Pleanty of room for all bits an bobs charger xtra battery etc, Water bottle, umbrella etc. Like the mid section can be ziped up or open for xtra room. Loved the rain cover, but it is completely seperate, (did come with a exra strap that can put on the top handle)should be attached to a zipp pouch at base like most hiking rucsacks, so when its wet and u want to put it away easily, instead of rolling it and putting it in side pocket. Comfortable to wear, loving it so far.

I own a couple of these backpacks, I find the split upper and lower sections extremely versatile. The lower section has plenty of dividers, is highly padded and sturdy and good for storing lenses and camera bodies. The upper section is not so well protected but great for storing bigger items. I personally use it to hold additional camera bodies or lenses that I already have padded cases for. All that said, camera bags are a very personal thing and I would strongly recommend checking them out in a camera store before deciding which to buy.

Does what it says. Looks stylish and there’s plenty of room for camera, lenses, tripod, laptop and accessories
