Madden 06 on the XBOX 360 has received a lot of bad press since its release, due mostly to its lack of features when compared to the XBOX/PS2 versions. There's no superstar mode, no mini-camp mode & no practice mode for starters. I can see why the fact these features are missing irritated some gamers, but personally I didn't care much for the superstar or mini-camp anyway - much preferring to just get onto the gridiron and play football via Franchise mode. The fact there is no practice mode IS disappointing, but hopefully this will return in Madden 07. What you do get with Madden 06 is next-gen graphics. EA rebuilt this game from the ground up and stated this reason for the apparant lack of game modes; instead focusing on the presentation and core gameplay.

Being a Madden for about 5 years I had to buy this game as my 1st for the 360 and it didn't disappoint. The graphics are extremely good considering it was one of the 1st games released for the 360 which is extremely promising for the future. The gameplay is very flowing and smooth with the animations of the being very high quality.The only let down is that there were less features than on the ps2 or xbox with no superstar mode or practice mode but there is still plenty to get on with in the regular franchise or if you want to play 2 player with your mates. I am yet to play it online but I'm sure it will be extremely good to test your skills against others.If you are a fan of Madden games then you cannot possibly be disappionted by this game.

Madden nfl 06 for Xbox 360. Bought as a gift for my partner. Excellent graphic. Good game play.A game worth its value and for any sports fan One for the collection
