I have to admit, this is an excellent string. I've been using it for a couple of months now and it has given me some extra pop and spin. When I 1st hit with it, the 1st thing I noticed was the sound was "tinny". The 2nd thing I noticed was the vibration was excessive. So, I immediately add a vibration dampener and that resolved both the vibration and the sound issue. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating rather than a 5 star rating was the vibration. Make certain you have a vibration dampener ready when you use it.

Luxilon big banger is a good string, I like playing with it. It is good for the ground strokes, it gives you more power and control at the same time, but it might be tough on your arm, I wouldn't recommend it to somebody that suffers from tennis elbow. I like to combine this string with a softer string like Nxt or natural gut, this enhances its feeling. This string gives you a little more spin since it is rough. It is a good value.

I asked the shop that's stringing my racquet to use this string as i've read very good reviews about it.It is indeed an excellent string, however it needs less tension than other strings, Luxilon suggests a 10% less than usual.It combines well with Wilson NXT natural or Head FXP17 string. It gives an excellent spin and pop, both combinations are awesome!It's really up to anyone's final choice!

incredible strings. qualitative difference with other strings I have used, in terms of power, control and spin ability. While I have heard people talk about their being rigid and causing tennis elbow, that has not been my experience in more than 5 years of constant singles play. I am a 3.5-4 player.

These strings are da bomb. I use them on a BLX pro staff 95. They give you good control with a little power at the same time. I think they are worth the $18 i paid. I suggest you string it at around 57/58 tension and as you play the tension will drop to around 55/56.

I tried almost all strings from different brands then I settled with Prince Recoil string which is very good and smooth but it still broke after few sessions. Then i tried this luxilon string and noticed a big difference in my spin and it didn't brake for a while.

Use this at 55 pounds and X-One BiPhase by Tehnifibre or their NRG2 on the mains at 60. Tons of topspin and great control. Added bonus is it's easy on the arm and seems to have a fairly long life. Don't have to overhit with this stuff. Plenty of pop on its own.

After sampling new hybrid combinations .... it all comes back to lux .... If you have a full swing and play all court tennis this string is the most consistent and reliable shotmaking string .... it holds tension longer and lasts longer than most strings ....

Excellent strings... If you are using them for the first time know that they are really, REALLY underpowered. I strung 40 pound and I have to swing real hard to get pace. Not a string for beginners.

I love this string.Pros:Lot's of spin, doesn't break, good power.Cons:Can be very rough on the shoulders and arm. I can only use it when I've been lifting weights.

I was hoping that Luxilon strings would last longer with my playing style but have found that 10-12 hours are the best that I could expect before they break.

Every 10-15 days I break my tennis racket string (I play every day at least 90 min with top spin). So far this string is doing good, it has nice feeling.

So far I like the string a lot. Allows me to play with more control and hit with more spin. Good product, and I have recommended it to others,

Great strings, but rough on the arms. I dropped the tension to 48lbs, but still had some arm pain. Fantastic strings otherwise.
