Badminton player. I don't use these grips but feel I need to write a review to clarify some information for people as it's just not out there. Yonex graps (grip+over wrap = grap) are designed primarily for use over a standard/replacement grip. Replacement grips are much thicker than over wraps and provide bulk and cushioning to the grip if needed. Many players agree that harder handles/thinner grips are easier to transfer power through, but thicker handles/grips encourage less over sqeezing and therefore less forearm problems for those with technique issues.Replacement grips (like your racquet comes with) and over grips (e.g. a Karakal PU Supergrip) are self adhesive which is great, but also destroy any layers of grip beneath them within 1-4 replacements. One of the main advantages of something like a Yonex Grap is that it will cover your exisiting grip to provide a nice tacky surface without ruining the main grip below it. These non-adhesive graps are lightweight, thin, cheap and fast to replace, so many players re-wrap their racquets reasonably frequently without changing their main self adhesive grips. For me, with reasonably large hands, most handles sold in Europe are slightly too small so I use a basic grip + Karakal PU over grip to get the right size and feeling. This already adds too much weight to the handle end of my racquet, so I don't bother with wraps. For my girlfriend, with her much smaller hands, she simply has a basic factory grip and a Yonex SuperGrap over the top to give an easily replaceable and nice feeling surface.I hope this helps make sense of this product for those who don't quite get what it's for. Yes you can use it as the only grip, you can even use it as an undergrip, but the main idea is that it's a lightweight, cheap, easily replaceable surface.

Purchased for protecting my badminton racket's original grip (Over Grip) from "JustTennis". My item arrived opened, taped up, and missing the YONEX adhesive end tape mentioned in the instructions. That seller got a 1 star. I had to source a method to use the tape without the end band. This my first time using such an item and went with the same brand as my racket for uniformity. I am not familiar with other brands. The "stickiness" in other reviews is the material causing a friction so you may GRIP it. It does not have any tacky adhesive except on the tip of the angled end. Which I used to finalize the wrap. I did a trial wrap with the protective film (half lap)estimating how much length I would need and cut about 6 inches off from the square end (badminton). It is almost the same texture as the original, but a little more spongy and clingy. Wraps and adjusts neatly along curves and turns. It does absorb some of the shock. Cannot give feedback on the adhesive end strip as I did not get any with my purchase. For persons who DON'T want the "sticky" feeling do not buy this. This is a GRAP (GRip wrAP). It is a product designed to make the racket stay in your hand. You will not be able to freely spin and twirl it around. Try plastic shrink wrap; bandage tape; nylon marking tape; or even duct tape.

I have used just about all the brands out there over the years and on many typez of rackets. This grip tape is as good as any others I have tried or better. Truthfully I find several of them to be close to identical when doing side by side comparing. I'm actually using this on my compound hunting bow grip and not a tennis racket this time. I have found over the years that this stuff makes for a great grip on many different things. One friend I have laughed when I told him I put tennis racket grip tape on my bow. Then he picked it up and his whole perspective about it changed instantly. Guess who is now ordering same stuff for his bow! LoL.

I bought this Yonex overgrip, the Wilson Pro and the Babolat Symbio overgrip. After playing with them all, I have the say - in my experience, that the Yonex holds better humidity, and it is the least slippery. I must agree that is a bit thick, Wilson is as well with less tack that Yonex. Symbio is thinner and has great tack, but doesn't last long.So if for someone this is helpful, I would recommend Yonex for best tack, Symbio is thinner and it is my second best and I gave away the Wilson ones, since they are thick and slippery.Others might have experience differently, but to me Yonex is the best.

I play a lot of racket sports and so i have a lot of rackets of various types. I wanted to change some of my older grips and ordered these as they sound like just what I was looking for - something absorbent and brightly coloured. The Green colour is more muted lime green rather than neon lime green but that is fine - they will dull over time anyway. They are easy to install and provide very good adhesion for the gripping hand. So far they seem to keep my hand dry so I don't lose control of the racket. Well worth the price.

This grip offers exceptional tack and feel. On cold days, most grips don't stick to your hand well enough and they slip out. And on hot days some will become very moist and will also slip. With this grip, that was not the case. I played in a tournament where it was extremely cold, the grip never slipped once!! And I have hyperhydrosis, causing my hands to sweat uncontrolably, this grip held on very very well. I have never played with a grip quite like this before and I am happy to say I got my money's worth. Thank you!!

This grip is holds very good and non slip. It feels alittle tacky, and was a lighter purple than I expected but overall it helped me a lot through games. However, the grip does get pretty dirty after awhile as you can see in the picture the dark one is after I used the grip for about a month or so, and i praticed often, around 5 days a week. The brighter purple one is the grip I just applied and you can see the big difference in the color. So you might have to buy new grip often. I recommend this product though. :))))

I use these for wrapping the grip of my recurve bow. An absolutely brilliant wrap. It's thin so contours to my custom grip well and has a good tacky but not sticky feel. One strip is perfectly long enough even for my substantially built up grip and it's strong enough when stretching it on application. My hands tend to sweat a lot and the grip provides a perfect tactile feel even when wet. Each strip lasts for about two seasons. I had tried Tourna-grip before which wasn't as tacky and had less cushion. Top stuff.

For the price I can't expect more. It's a soft and comfortable grip, however it tends to get thinner after a month of use. My hand is sweaty so that may be a reason, but after a month and a half I have to re-wrap with the other 2 grips. If you looking for a nice grip for less than 5$, get this. It comes with 3 grips per package, so you can change or double-wrap as you like. But if you want high-class grip (I tried them before, it's amazing)buy something else (more expensive I guess)

I use a martial arts 72" staff as a walking stick. The staff is oak and finished nicely, but not really ideal for hand holding as a walking stick. I have added a rubber end and now, with this Yonex Super Grab wrapped in two locations starting about 16 inches from each end of the staff and working toward center of the staff, I have a tremendously comfortable walking stick AND a much better staff handling when working out defensive maneuvers with the staff. Excellent product.

This is the best tennis racquet tape I have ever used. It's much better than anything I've bought a Dick's Sporting Goods, not to mention it is cheaper. I liked it so much that I bought two more rolls and wrapped the handles of two of my machetes. It has a perfect rubbery-smooth grip. It does not get sweaty or slick, and it does not crumble or "pill." In fact, I just bought another roll as a back-up, which is why I am here writing a review as well: great product.

I have been playing tennis competitively for six years. I have used many brands of grip but since trying out supergrap I have never been happier. They are long. Which makes regripping much easier. They last a really long time which is nice since they aren't that expensive. In terms of tack they are not extremely tacky. But I like that and the tack lasts a while. No slipping for a very long time. Remember folks once you go grap you never go back. Lolskies.

I've tried loads of grips as I play about 4 times a week, grips only last a couple of weeks at best - These are the best of the bunch albeit they can wear at a surprising rate. The do however cope well with sweat and for competitive matches these compare very well against the likes of Gamma and tourna tac.One of these over a PU super grip is all you need when it comes to grips, and is a cheaper long term solution to having max grip most of the time.

I was using an overgrip with a little more tack, and realized I kept having to wipe off my handle/hands after every few plays. I read a bunch of reviews of this overgrip and tourna etc and decided to go with this one in hopes it would absorb a little better. After a day of pickleball I didn't notice any sweat and still felt like I had a good grip on the handle. Would definitely recommend if you suffer from sweaty hands like me.

Came with 3 grips and 3 Yonex labeled tapes to hold it in place.I used it for my badminton racket. .The image is accurate to the color you'll be getting; I got the orange one.My old grip was the same brand and was the light blue one. It lasted years on non-intense play. I believe this is pretty much the standard grip for yonex badminton rackets. I haven't seen my friends, who play in competitions, use anything else.
