I've been using rpm blast in several rackets over the past 18 months. First in a Wilson Blade 101l then a Volkl V1 Organix Pro and then a Babolat Pure Strike Tour. This string in all rackets provided a tremendous amount of spin as long as the player has good technique. The shaped poly grips well and countless times have I hit a hard shot that my opponents thought was sailing long only to have the spin take hold and drop the ball dead on the line. This had been my go to string ever since until I decided to stray away in search of alternatives. I recently purchased a Wilson Pro Staff 97 which has ended my search for the perf racectket but I opted to string it with Wilson Rip Spin which is a great string but dies out too quickly.

I have not played with this string yet myself, but I string my daughter's racquet myself. In the past I have used various wilson/head string, they more or less behave the same on a stringing machine, but this RPM is very different. It does not have much elastic at all.I use a drop weight gamma stringing machine. for other wilson/head string, I usually set the weight to 58lbs and have to do at least two sometimes three strokes for each pair of holes. But for RPM, I had to raise the tension to 62lbs, still could barely do one stroke. I have never seen this before.I am not sure if this is good or bad, Daughter seems to like it, said she had to rearrange the string way less often than before and has better control.

This is for my son. He likes these strings. Give great control and great spin, yet are not too hard so his wrists do not hurt. He tried another, harder string but his hands started hurting and control was gone. Downside is, expect to re-string more often. He plays competitively in 14 and under age catgory.

Works great for me so far. I'm not into the hype regarding strings and "spin production", I believe that one's strokes make the real difference. I can see a little difference but the main thing I like about the strings is that they haven't broken after about a good 10-15 hours of playing with them.

I am intermediate player. I really enjoy with this string. Octagonal profile gives me easily to spin the ball with needed rpm-speed that confuses my partners during the game. Babolat RPM Blast 16g is the best for me and for a couple of my friends. Even it is the most durable for a long time.

This string lasts a LONG time. Used to re-string my racquet once every 2 weeks. With this string, it lasts 3 month or so. Very nice feel, and my ball has slightly better speed and spin. Highly recommend it.

This Tennis string is 18 gauge [most Tennis strings are 17 gauge] which gives me more feel and a faster shot speed.The twisted hexagonal profile improves the spin imparted to the ball.

Plays fantastic. Most spin out of any poly I have used. Does not volley well as others, and if you swing slow you wont like it..but hit fast and use topspin and this is the best.

Great string for topspin players. Bit on the expensive side unfortunately. The Cheaper volkl string is a wiser choice with as much quality as this one.

Love these strings but be careful when pulling them that they are straight otherwise they get deformed out of alignment when strining the racquet.

By far the best string I've ever used. More speed, more spin, and greater durability make RPM blast unbeatable in the world of tennis strings.

These are currently my favorite strings. I'm using them in a Wilson Steam 99LS, strung at 56 lbs. They have great spin, and some nice pop.

good control and feel. It may require a few trial and error for the right tension, but low tension with a hybrid string seems to be good.
