I wanted a cheap SATA CD/DVD re-writer... this is it.It looks and feels like a good product, does exactly what I have asked of it and was a very good price. Have used it to read and write various CDs and DVDs including dual layer DVDs and it has worked perfectly every time.It isn't quiet but it isn't loud either. The vibration and noise when it is in use is exactly what I would expect of a unit doing this job for this price so I can't mark it down.

Excellent for the price, Plus Lite On makes drives for other companies so not afraid to go for this brand easy install and fast quiet operation,This is to replace my LG drive which lasted 1 year and before that a samsung which lasted 8 months so time will tell

The burner works well. Seems unusual that the four small pan head bolts needed to secure the burner to the saddle in the computer were not provided. I purchased the cables needed to provide the burner with the desired power but I expected to do that anyway.

I got this item a few months ago for a high performance computer I built. It works really well, very responsive but recently (after 3 months) it has started to be worryingly noisy when starting up - but it does still work to the same good standard.

Not much to say about this sata dvd drive, other than it works as it should and does the job for a great low price.Not the most quiet drive I've ever used, but for the occasional disc, it's fine. I would definitely recommend it.

Used this because I found the USB DVD drives to be cheap and used this through a USB to SATA device. Handles reading all discs small and normal. It is quite loud when used outside but who cares.

Excellent dvd writer, I have owned many makes over the years with varied results but this does all I need and is quiet in operation compared to some writers, highly recommended

Does not come with SATA cables, so make sure you have or are getting a SATA data and power cable. Otherwise,nice and easy to install, seems very quiet on first use.

The price is very good reviews was top so i ordered. it seems that have more noise than normal but i am not using it very often so i dont care about noise)

satisfying sound on eject and reads discs fine. is a little noisy when in use but such is the nature of most disc readers

Bought to replace a failed DVD±RW SATA drive, very easily fitted and quiet upon operation. A 5 star product.

Bought for a sffpc. Its a good quality drive slightly noisy on spin-up though. Would recommend to anyone
