This is one of those little gadgets that you either find indispensable or you regard as a dust collector.I wanted one of these to use with my Kindle - I don't have a tablet. I used it with the first edition Kindle PaperWhite in the recommended leather case. I often have my Kindle on my desk when I am playing with its collections or downloading stuff and I also often have it sitting on the work surface in my kitchen when I am cooking (gives me something to do when stirring). The unit I have is white with the rubberised strip in a lime green. It looks fresh but definitely very office like. I wouldn't use it in a living room or somewhere like that. I am not at all sure about the green colour,I think that a black strip might have blended better with most office equipment. You can set your gadget on the top to be held by the rubberised strip at a slight angle which lifts it an inch or two off the flat surface you place it on. This worked well for my Kindle even with the cover bent fully back. I have also taken to placing my phone on it when it is recharging. You could put other devices on it or even, dare I suggest it, a small paper notebook if you were reading from it I can use my phone quite well to read from or to switch from one thing to another as it is held very securely and you can easily change pages on the Kindle although if you swipe too enthusiastically it will swing the whle device round. You can move the whole device around on its base should you need to swivel it.The other way you can use this device is to stand a gadget up against the lip. There isn't a lot or room here and you need quite a thin device. My phone is fine but the Kindle with cover only just fits - the Kindle actually works better if you move it into landscape mode. This way of using the device means that you can display something which is on your device to a number of people, if you just want to read something yourself off the screen you would use the flatter display mode. You could also use the more upright display for a photo or very thin notebook but it would have to be fairly rigid as the back support doesn't come up very far.The unit appears to be robustly made and it moves well. It has a recess in the top to collect dust or in which you could store something like paperclips. It isn't very big but it is reasonably secure on the surface when being used.In the week or so that I have had this I have used it more than I thought that I might. I use it primarily for propping up my Kindle on the desk or in the kitchen so that I can read what is on the screen more easily than I would if it were flat on the surface. I also tend to place my phone or Kindle on it when recharging. It is now a fixture on my desk and is used several times a day.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that this is a must-have piece of equipment for every iPad owner out there, but if - like me - you do a lot of reading and/or typing on a regular basis then this is something to thing about; the angle it holds the iPad at makes the screen easier to read AND lessens the pressure on my wrists in comparison to placing my iPad on the table. What really makes this a good buy is that as well as holding my iPad horizontally, is that it can also hold the iPad upright too; a handy feature for calling someone on Skype whilst keeping hands free, or following a reside I found online and wanting to keep my sticky hands off my iPad.If I wanted to take the stand to work then the compact and light design would be perfect for transportation.

This is a nifty little gadget,it has a rotating disc underneath which holds the main body into which you put your tablet, which is what I'm using now with it. On a table top or desk it holds your tablet in place keeping your hands free to spin or turn your screen round if for example you were doing some activity/game with two people or more.It would be really good for business meeting ect.It is small making it portable and easy to slip into your bag or a big pocket maybe. It glides round 360,making it very useful for work/school,maybe a bit expensive, unless used as previously mentioned then could be invaluable.

For those of us that only use our tablets around the house for vewing the many tv apps this is the perfect device. It is absolutely compatible with any tablet of any size. The sticky rubber ensures that the device will stick to almost any surface without shifting when using the touchscreen functions. It can also be used when playing games as well as typing or surfing the net. It really does alllow you to place your tablet in a convenient spot in any room in the house and is not expensive.

This works surprisingly well. It is such a simple idea and the stand does look quite small. The price is quite high at the moment but if you do quite a lot of reading on your tablet it might well be worth it.It basically does what it claims to do. I would rate this at three and a half stars.

Great for one handed usage, keeps my ipad in a good position for watching movies etc, just put down and go. Very good product.
