Leitz was founded in 1871 by Louis Leitz a German inventor, who in 1896 developed the lever arch file (the finger hole in the back was added in 1911). Leitz now produces a wonderful array of quality office supplies like hole punches, labelling, display folders, filing and laminating to name but a few.I have always found Leitz products to be well made and long lasting, so I was pleased when I had the chance to review a Leitz WOW Click & Store A4 Storage Box in bright pink. The Leitz WOW Click and Store box is a stylish collapsible A4 storage box designed in bright pink to match the rest of the WOW range. This storage box (size 286mm width x 200mm height x 369mm depth) will take size A4 papers easily.A lid is provided to keep papers and other items stored clean and dust free. The storage box arrived flat packed but was easily put together utilizing its pop stud mechanism. The Leitz WOW Storage box is made from strong board laminated with a gloss polypropylene finish for extra protection, the box can be wiped clean and does appear to be fairly solid, certainly strong enough to fill with papers and photographs. The storage box has a metal label holder and strong handles for transporting from place to place. These Leitz WOW Storage boxes come in eight vibrant colours (to match your room decor) and various sizes for many different storage needs, like CD storage, Christmas decorations, craft products and so on.I will probably purchase quite a few of these, some for our office and some for our children to have in their rooms for storage. My daughter has already nabbed my pink Leitz WOW Click and Store box for her Wii Infinity characters.

I'm the world's least organised person, with letters and documents piled up everywhere. Whenever I need something - car V5C, insurance certificates, pension info - I have a frantic few hours (sometimes even days!) sifting through everything desperately trying to find what I'm looking for. Hopefully this will be a thing of the past though, with my new Leitz Wow storage box.First impressions are very good - the box is made of an extremely sturdy high gloss card in a vivid and thus impossible to misplace fuschia pink. It comes flat-packed and only takes about 30 second to assemble - you pull the side flaps up and press-stud them into position, then the lid just drops on top.Because of the way the box is assembled it wouldn't be watertight so I think it more suitable for domestic storage than any sort of professional archiving. There are nice features like metal carry handles at each end (they fold flat against the box when not in use), plus a removable label with metal surround (I honestly don't know that I will ever be organised enough to record the contents, but it's a useful addition). The actual dimensions are well in excess of A4 so you won't have stuff getting jammed or bent inside, or being difficult to lift out again.I've started by putting my passport and travel insurance documents inside and really think this is the beginning of a new and exciting superwoman-like significantly more organised me. No doubt everything else - my love life, stressful job and challenging family - will all just blissfully fall into place now. :-)

This hot, almost fluorescent pink storage box is really intuitive to put together from the flat pack format in which you receive it, to a storage box - it took me less than 60 seconds, so is an almost immediate storage solution. The popper mechanism for securing it in place makes it sturdier than if you were just slotting and inserting bits of cardboard into one another and I was surprised at how secure a structure it makes.I like the fact that there is a good range of colours, so that you can either colour co-ordinate to your home décor, or you can allocate a colour for a particular topic/purpose - eg photos in orange boxes, craft items in pink boxes, instruction booklets in blue and receipts in black etc.Personally I prefer the look of these over their plastic equivalents, but obviously plastic is impervious to water/spillages and keeps such things away from the contents - you won't get the same protection with cardboard, even though it appears to have a plastic top-coat over the cardboard, there are little gaps when you clip it together which would allow moisture/spillages in. It's worth considering the location you will store the box in and the contents it holds before purchase.I am using the box to hold a multitude of little pots and boxes of very small craft items, to keep them all together neatly, which I then have stored in a cupboard. This is a really neat, sturdy storage solution, that looks great on your shelves. At full retail price, it's maybe a bit pricey, but when discounted, it's an attractive option.

When this box arrived, it was a flat pack box in plastic wrapping. I have bought several other boxes of this type from bargain homeware stores and was expecting much of the same: some poppers to put it together and it was up and running. However, the quality of this box, when I took it out of the plastic, was already evident. It feels wipeclean and it nice and thick cardboard. The colour is also nice a bright, so will liven up an office space. Not only this, but as well as one regular popper on each corner, there is also another which attaches to a flap which folds over the top of the end pieces. This means that even if you put a lot in the box, it is very unlikely to pop open, which has occassionally happened to me with cheaper versions. There is a handle on the front of this box, for easily pulling it out of shelving space and also a little card to label the contents. My only quibble with this is that all of the boxes are plain, rather than having patterns, which can look nice in some rooms and help you tell boxes apart. There is a nice range of colours though and with the label, you can easily sort through the boxes. For me, the great quality overrides this fact and the other features counter the issue.I'd definitely recommend these for good quality storage or anything up to A4 size.

Leitz Wow Click & Store A4 Storage Box is an excellent storage box for all those A4 files you want to keep safe and secure, with the added bonus it is developed with a secure fitting lid. The actual box is made from a top quality material which is very robust and for me my favourite part of this box is the very eye catching pink colour which would brighten any dull office in even the coldest day.I am happy to recommend the Leitz WOW click & store A4 storage box as it not only looks good but it holds my files all together in a very robust file container which comes with a handy carry handle. I also like the fact that the corners of the lid have metal edging which will keep the box in a good condition. As in times past I have purchased box files and they always seemed to fray at the corners, with this excellent storage box the lid actual box and lid will stay in good condition because of the excellent metal edging.I like the fact that the box actually comes in a flat pack which makes it very easy to store, with a quick pop up action the box is ready for use. I love the colours also available as they are all very bright and will colour coordinate with many of today's colour schemes.

Banish away the grey and green, let your boxes be clearly seen... Singing out sturdy and strong in punk pank pink nobody is going to put this baby in the corner. Ingeniously flattened for storage and transportation in origami fashion, the whole caboodle unfolds itself transformer style into a box a small child could sit on or in, safely.Clicking the poppers shut is a highly satisfactory pleasure, completing the construction in moments. Cart it about with the hefty handles, label clearly with a card slid into the holder and tidy away your love letters, secret diaries, recipes, magazine cuttings, birthday cards, whatever bumph now needs a smart new home. Maybe a different coloured memory box for each year, stuffed with mementos, newspaper cuttings, photos, pressed flowers, tickets...Crafting generally involves colour and texture, which creative folk feed on. Cottons, wools, materials for patchwork, tools, all would take up residence contentedly in one of these.Imagine a glorious array of rainbow colours, one of each. These goodies in a home office, wardrobe, kitchen, or happy hobby room will brighten your days and protect your bits.

This storage box is a breeze to put together - simply fasten all the press studs, fit the lid, and voila!I would suggest that with its neat finish and price point that it's meant to be on display - on the top of a desk, cabinet or on a bookcase, say - rather than used for purely storage purposes and hidden away. The size is ideal for holding staplers, paper, pens and all the usual accoutrements of the office desk. It would also fit the bill if you want to store a few treasured DVDs or CDs etc.How robust is it? Well, the corners of the lid have metal tabs which makes it more substantial - the corners tend to go first. However, I do find that the sides might bow slightly if you're not careful,so this area needs to be watched. It also has the obligatory metal slot at the front for the user to label the box's contents, and it comes with metal carry handles to front and back for easy lifting. All in all this is an attractive, useful box that comes at a reasonable price and is available in a range of vibrant colours.Very nice!

Clever design and really sturdy. It comes nicely folded inside the lid and construction is easy. You just pop the sides into place. It takes a few seconds only. Just be a bit careful, in my haste I managed to bend the front slightly, but the fault was entirely mine. It's a shame because now it has a slight crease, but this is only aesthetic - the box is just as solid and sturdy as it should be. As for the colour - it's a matter of personal taste. The pink is very bright (it's certainly a statement - personally, I'd go for a more muted colour next time). What's nice is that this is storage that you wouldn't mind having on show. I'm really impressed with the design - it's premium quality.Sure you can get cheaper alternatives of similar sturdiness, but what sets this apart is that it looks nice when constructed. It holds A4 documents but you would have to lay them down - it's not deep enough to stand them on end. I use it for storing stationary products - and it's just perfect for that. Great product.

What a great idea this is! I have one of the IKEA Kallax shelving units and I like a mix of open and closed sections so this works great in that. I love the sample description photo for this product and might have to invest in some of the other range in a mix of colours as they're so reasonably priced and look great together. I have a mix of wicker and white on my shelves at the moment and the bright neon pink colour of this box looks great with those.Very easy to assemble it took less than a minute to pop all the snaps together and the box is really sturdy and stable. I love the handles on the front and back to make it easy to pull out of the shelf compartment (and carry)and the little label holder on the front is a nice touch and means I don't have to haul it out of the shelf to remind myself of the contents.Brilliant box at a brilliant price and when it's not in use the poppers can be un-snapped and stored flat which saves a lot of space. Made of win.

Leitz WOW Click & Store A4 Storage Box (Pink) - ref 60440023I have already used one of the Leitz suspension file boxes (black) for storing accounts. This has lasted some years already. This latest unit I obtained for storing magazine articles or possibly my ink cartridges/paper for my inkjet printers. As with the similar suspension file box from Leitz, this comes as a flat pack and easily assembles using the pop studs to give an A4 box in less than a minute. Although it is cardboard it is amazingly sturdy. A clever interlocking design ensures it maintains structure – it can also be easily collapsed back to flat pack form if required.(NOTE - If you want to hang individual document files you will need to buy the suspension file box and separate A4 folder files.(Also available from Leitz) – also an excellent product)Many other possible uses for this little storage miracle ranging from small kids toys to office items or simply magazines – rate 5 stars.

This comes flat packed but just clips together with strong poppers. You do need to give them a good push but this is to ensure strength. The box is made of sturdy cardboard and should be sufficient to hold a large number of A4 documents. It is slightly larger than A4 in size and just over 7 inches deep (or 19 cm for those younger than me). There are no partitions inside and, as the box opens via the lid, there is no real method of organising documents. That said, for people like me who tend to stuff documents into a carrier bag and often lose them, it is a way of keeping them all in one place and with the box being bright pink, it's very difficult to mislay it.As can be seen from the picture, there is a space to put a label in the front so, if you have a home office set up, you can use several boxes and store different types of document in each one although with the opening at the top, it's not really practical to stack them.

This box is just perfect for my use.I was looking for a large container that I could take to my Brownie pack every week. The brief was that it should be capable of housing all the paperwork that I would need for meeting whilst "gobbling up" with ease anything that the parents might hand me. It should also not fall to bits owing to rough use and be readily identifiable should I lose it anywhere. The item comes flat packed but is very easy to assemble and is clearly made of strong stuff. The pink shade makes it cheery and attractive and there is a carrying handle plus reinforcement at the corners. It can take files but I rather preferred to use it to throw in everything that I might require. This would include books, lists and materials for activities. It really was perfect and, in A4 sizing ample in capacity. It is currently sitting in my boot ready to be sorted through and unloaded.I am very pleased with it indeed.

I have to say when the storage box arrived I was a bit underwhelmed, the flat packed card looked a bit uninspiring. I gave it to my wife, she looked a bit puzzled and then popped up the sides and then (this is no lie) she actually said "wow, I love it". The glossy finish is lovely, the box feel rigid and high quality and it just looks fun.We really like the handles (very old school) and even the little tag at one end gives a feel of retro coolness. It has a volume of around 4 lever arch files (a guess!) so you can pack in plenty of stuff. We have transferred my daughter's old baby things (from 1 years ago) in to it, rather than the tatty old box we were using. We will definitely be buying some more, especially given the range of vibrant colours on offer.Well done Leitz!Highly recommended

Not much point talking about the boxiness of a box. It is one: end of. It's moderately sturdy - would survive a move providing you aren't employing chimps. You forget the fact it's flat-pack once it is in use. It is as easy to assemble as it should be and the fact it can go down flat has obvious usefulness. Being of cardboard construction, it is light, but not flimsy.I can't think of any drawbacks to it. Ah, just the fact that it's closure is a lid, but it doesn't claim not to be. This would mean stacking them inhibits opening and closing, but unless you get something with a drawer system that will apply.I haven't got it wet so don't know about it's water resistance. It would not be water tight,so perhaps this is not the ideal storage solution for flood areas.

I have been buying these for a while now to transfer all my CD/DVD collection out of their plastic cases and into CD paper sleeves that are then stored in these boxes - so note, you need to buy paper sleeves as well as the boxes. The boxes are very easy to assemble, are very durable and strong, are protected with thin metal on the corners of the lid so you won't easily damage them if they knock against something and can be stacked one on top of the other. I manage to get about 150 to 160 disks in each box - but disks only (in paper sleeves). Any CD album art or booklet generally won't fit and any DVD insert from an original case definitely won't fit. Excellent price too.
