I have previously used the 80-packs of slimline cases from a different Amazon supplier, but the price appears to have jumped up recently so I thought I'd give these a try - they work out at just over a penny more per case (ie, about 6%). It turned out to be a good choice. The box supplied did not look like the one in the photo currently on this site (Oct.2013), but was the 'Music & Movie' version of the Hama CD-ROM 'Computer' cases which are also available in boxes of 100 on Amazon. The plastic used for the Hama cases appears of a better quality, with a much better, smooth and glossy finish compared to the ones I've used before. The cases were shrink wrapped in 50s inside the box,

These slim jewel cases are more durable than they appear; the hinge can snap past the fully opened position without breaking off (I wouldn't recommend doing this too much though), and the cases appear to be able to withstand moderate drops onto carpet.However, they are fairly finnicky to close securely. This can be worked around by firmly clamping a case with your thumbs and index fingers on the top and bottom sides from the spine to the front. The discs can also sometimes pop out when opening the cases, but this is usually caused by pressing on the back when opening them.Despite these minor issues, I'd still recommend these cases.

The discs came in two sections in the box 50 per rack.they seem to be o.k but I have not checked them all for damage.The cases are very flexible.This may not necessarily be a bad thing as if the plastic was more sterdy then they may break more easily if dropped.I did a quick drop test from about 4 feet and it did not break or crack.(no disc was inside the case).These are ideal for my use as I have M-discs which came in a spindle,I need to archive the discs and have them in different locations for safety.Overall the cases seem to be ok,only time will tell.You will need to supply your own card inlay as there are not any.

I bought these CD cases after being fed up with the poor quality cases sold by other sellers and other brands, particularly those sold on a certain popular auction site. Over the past few months, I have purchased many of these packs from Amazon and all have been of the highest quality with no issues whatsoever. I have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about when they raise concerns about the quality and the brand Hama is a respected one. If you are looking for good quality CD cases in bulk, you can't go wrong with these in my humble opinion.

The 1 pack i received today are much better quality(and actually work out cheaper) than the Q-Connect Slim Jewel Case for CD - Black, Pack of 25 i had previously purchased from here. They were awful. Only 1 hama case out of 50 was unusable, it was right at the end and split. The best thing to do with these type(or the standard thickness cases) is to look carefully at all the images availible. I could see they were better when i ordered them and 49 usable out of 50 is good enough for me. I hope they are still stocked when i get another pack.

These do exactly what it says on the box, and will do for CDs or DVDs. Being what they are, I don't imagine that they'll stand up to rigorous handling, but they are good value for money, and are certainly stronger than a lot of cheaper cases.

These cases are as described - slim. Handy for posting CD-Roms to customers, which is what we use them for. They are pretty flimsy but are what you would expect for the money. Not suitable for keeping CD's in long term.

The obvious space-saving is very good. Disadvantages - 1. the hinges break easily 2. getting readable information in the spine is very fiddly, though by the time you've practised on 25 the rest go smoothly.

Brilliant as always! My pupils love the different colours.I like that the boxes snap closed well and that the CD sites nicely inside. Job done. Keep on making 'em and I'll keep on buying 'em!

These came when expected, and despite me dropping the box as I tried to figure out how to open it, none of the cases were cracked. Perfect.

Arrived promptly and well packed in convenient box. Cases are neat and slim, saving storage space and still protecting DVD's well.
