The iMac is a great computer, and as with most Apple products is well designed - with one exception. That is that the USB (and thunderbolt) sockets are on the back of the monitor. With a 27" monitor these can be awkward to get at and they are something you use quite often. And that is where this handy gadget comes in, a simple turntable that your Mac sits on and enables you to rotate it to get access to these sockets on the back. It rotates smoothly and silently and only raises the monitor a little over 1cm.It comes neatly packaged and seems well made. I have dropped it one star, not because of its performance but because it does seem a touch pricey for what it is, but it well worth having.

This is perfect for it's purpose. I have a 27-inch iMac and, while it can swivel on a horizontal axis, it can't on a vertical one. I often use the computer to watch films or the BBC iPlayer, but don't want to sit at my desk to do so. I used to turn the computer on its own stand so I could watch the screen from another part of the room, but, over time, this scratched the desk. When I bought a new desk, I decided to get the AluDisc, which solved the problem. It matches the computer perfectly.

Excellent, Yes it is expensive, But it is very sorry indeed and the quality is good and the turntable is effective and the screen is just as stable, Personally I wouldn't be without one
