The girls thought they were going to love this, they got bored fast. Maybe it is above a 4 or 5 year old level. I think it is lacking in how much they can do with it. It will read the book to them, they can tap on words to learn letter and phonics skills and they can create a dress. I might be missing something as I have never explored the game, but that is all I've ever seen the girls doing with it. Still has good educational properties.

My 4-year old likes the story very much, but concentrates more on the extras included, such as the games or dressing up Cinderalla. As she starts learning to read, I expect her to get more out of the story without assistance.For a 4-year-old, though it does highlight the words as it reads the story aloud, it may not sustain their attention.

Thought this was an excellent ebook. My 5year old granddaughter loved it. A good feature of this game was that each of the words were highlighted as they were spoken so helping the child to read. Also the story is interspersed with simple relevant games which challenges the child and sustains interest. Bought 3 weeks ago.

This is a quality product at a great price. My granddaughter loves her Leap Pad and loves to play games and learn everything she can. I searched everywhere for this item and Amazon was by far cheaper than anywhere else that I could find. I would recommend this product to everyone.

We took the Leappad tablets with us on a trip when the granddaughters came up to visit, and the elder one (4.5yo) played with this cartridge more than the others, especially the designing part. She had so much fun mixing and matching the available options. Definitely a win.

My 3.5 year old daughter got this for Christmas and loves it. Even after getting all the badges and playing it regularly in the rotation, she still seems to gravitate towards it. It's helping her learn to read and I love that!

Good value for money when purchased on an offer but at full price I don't think it's worth it! My daughter occasionally uses this game but prefers the cheaper ebooks and actual games. Other than that though it's a good game.

The LeapPad is my niece's clever method of turning down the day's crazy pace to an evening of something more quiet and ready for bed with the added benefit of learning something while also being entertained.

My 5-year old can easily follow along, word by word. I haven't really watched her use it, but I see her sitting and listening to it and turning the pages.

Purchased for my Grand Daughter for Christmas...she loved it. We purchased the Disney Princess Leap Pad 2 and this to go with it. She is learning alot!

My little girl loved this game. Has spent hours playing it on long journeys. Great educational value and fantastic for encouraging prent/child time :)

I don't actually play the games so hard to write a review. My 4 & 5 year olds seemed to like it but their fave game is the letter factory and drawing.
