My little girl is 4 and wanted a laptop just like mummy's. This laptop is ideal as my little loves playing and learning on the laptop when I am working on mine too. It is very easy to use and has multiple learning programs which is great for getting ready for school, only thing I would change is to have the screen a little bigger. This is a sturdy product and looks great. This has stopped my little girls curiosity in my laptop and it is a bonus that it is pink too, my little girl loves it!

Bought for my daughter. The screen is not bright enough, too dark. It would have been better if the screen had a back light or/and a little bigger. Struggle to see the mouse pointer on screen due to darkness. Games are fine but can be a little confusing and no or very little information before game starts and a child does not understand as it goes on to game too quickly. Although great for a child to pretend they have their own computer it could have been thought out a little more.

I bought this Laptop for my young Grand daughter as she loves computers, I do think it's a shame the screen is in black and white only but she seems to be enjoying it, not sure whether she will learn the French that is in there either ... maybe Vtech should have used that space for something more english, or at least give an option to change it.... Overall my granddaughter is very happy with her Laptop and that is all that matters to me.

I found the vtech laptop very educational, with so many games to play, learning to spell, maths, creativity and so much more, I would recommend it, my daughter is quite delayed in academic development and this laptop not only makes her feel @very grown up@ But at the same time teaches so much. I'm mainly impressed by the actual amount of national curriculum 10/10 based activities there are to learn on it. 10/10!!

Helps my 5 Yr old with autism so much with his reading, writing and understanding tasks.... He has used it daily and he is so more confident in his spelling etc because of this and he thinks he is like daddy and his laptop... 100% recommend for any child very well made and even teaches French which my son now speaks to me what he has been taught and tells me on English what they mean.

My Grand daughter opened her first laptop (vtech-challenger) on christmas morning, she is 5.Once it was out of the box we hardly heard from her all day it has all sorts of games and learning qualities on it she has not started to learn french yet so we did not use that bit, but i am sure that it will used soon enough.What a fantastic present for her and also at a really good price.

Grand Daughter is delighted with her first Computer. Product does all the things she needs just as she is starting school. Product arrived a little later than the estimated delivery date, but well in time for Christmas. NOT BAD considering the very poor weather which hit only a day or so after ordering. Very pleased with the product and service overall. 9/10

I got this for my daughter for Christmas. I think this is a good start to devices rather than going straight to the ipad. It teachers how to use a key pad and move between programs. Her and her younger brother are enjoying finding out all the activities available. The screen is small but we new that having read the review so we weren't disappointed.

My 3 year old was always watching me on my laptop and said she wanted one so she could be like mummy- found this in Argos and I ( and my daughter) was not disappointed! She only really wanted to pretend to press the keys but this actually plays games and is interactive. Lovely item and her and her older sister ( age 7) both enjoy playing on it.

My 5 year old loves it, educational fun too but the problem she complains is she cant see the screen its too dark. I dont understand why they make such good kids laptops with tiny screen and dark resolution!!!!Apart from that the contents are 5 start and the outlook of it. she loves the pink colour with mouse great .

This product is for one of my granddaughters, I purchased the same laptop in march for my 5 year old granddaughter, She loves it, and has a great deal of fun with it plus it helps with all the spelling, maths etc,so decided to purchase the same laptop for my second granddaughter, know I calnt go wrong with this item.

My 4 year old grandson, just loves his VTec laptop, its just like his dad's! You just can't keep him off it. I thought it might be a good learning toy. Its far more than that, it gives a child the ability to learn, not only what's on the screen but how to use technology. Would I recommend it you bet I would.

I got this for my 5 year old for his birthday. He has played with it everyday, it’s fun and educational. He also loves the fact he has a laptop like mummy and daddy. It’s great as you can use different levels for what your child is good in, he is also learning french from this toy. It’s brilliant. Great buy!!

We brought this for our son, does what is says although find it really difficult to see due to the black and white screen. It's the same as when I had it as a 4 year old. It has to be at a set angle to see.The games are good once you have managed to locate them. Definitely an adult led game time!

Bought for my 5 year old son for his birthday. He loves the fact that he has his own laptop and he loves playing with it. It is very robust as he has dropped it a few times. The only downside of this product is the screen is too small, but overall good product which my son likes playing with.
