Had a vtech laptop with mouse before this, but it was a bit too much to handle for a 2yo. If you are avoiding phone/tablet/PC/TV like us, this is ideal. Daughter spends long time playing and repeating its words. Not as addictive as phones, so can easily be taken away when time is up. Only downside is, it becomes a bit repetitive. Could've done with some more words and games on tablet mode; rather than divide up between two. Nevertheless, recommend to those who want some sort of screen for kids.

Really love this product so does my nearly 2yo. I read before I bought it and some one said it was an American accent. It’s not the alphabet is sung correctly for all us British accented people. So zed and not zee! It’s got so many modes can’t see her getting bored anytime soon. When it’s a tablet it toured into a touch screen! That was a nice surprise.Counts to 20 which is great cos my daughter can already count to 17 so that’s a good start. Feels nice and solid and nice bright colours.

Great product for toddlers. My two year old loves carrying it around and playing with it for now. I do think there should be a locking system in place though to prevent the screen from moving about when using it in laptop form. Development and imagination is limited due to only being so much you can do, as it doesnt connect to wifi and you cant insert cartriges for other games etc. Whilst it is good for smaller toddlers I think it is one that infants would quickly outgrow.

What a fantastic first quality educational toy for 2/3 year old. my niece's boy who is 2 years old loved it from day one. His eyes lit up when the present was opened and now he does not let it go. We can say without a doubt that this gift will help excel is knowledge. The whole family approved this educational toy. We know it is going to build a solid foundation towards his first steps in the educational world. The make and quality are very good. highly recommend..

My own daughter used to have an older version and now I bough this for my nephew and he enjoys playing with it, repeats alphabet and animal that goes with each letter, numbers and songs, it’s fab! It contains many fun and educational activities to keep him intertwined and in my opinion this is much better and healthier than the tablet or a mobile!! This toy offers education and fun, great quality, in my opinion is absolutely great for little ones.

My granddaughter always wants to sit on my lap whilst I am working from home and she keeps trying to tap on the keyboard. I found this, thinking it would be her "toy laptop" like nanny's one. But how surprised I was - this is a real educational tool and she will absolutely love it when she is next here. Open it up and it acts like a little laptop. Close it and it acts like a tablet. Arrived ready to go, no need for batteries. Fantastic buy.

Love love love the personalised element to this, if you enter your child’s name it teaches your little one how to spell it, I must be honest and say my son is only just getting to the ages for it, a little young yet but I have been enjoying it aswell, it loves the silly sounds in the music mode, great purchase at a really good price, really good value for money.. hopefully it keeps his hands off my laptop

I brought this for our granddaughters first birthday. Although it says from 2+ I knew her 5yr old sister would sit and play with her as its not a baby toy. I've gone through the laptop before she's had it and I was impressed by its durability, lovely make and finish also the grafix, sound and educational content on the pad is of a high standard. I'm definitely getting my other granddaughter one for Xmas.

This is so much better then the older version. I love the fact it turns into a “tablet”, and the touchscreen is great for my 2 year old who is constantly trying to go on my phone for that reason! The display could be brighter / more defined to grab the little ones attention more but overall this is fantastic and my son loves playing with it and exploring all the different options on it. Would recommend

Bought for my daughters 3rd birthday, overall she's enjoying it, the screen is very delicate when switching from comp to tablet and has no catch to keep it from swinging which is a little annoying with a heavy handed toddler, the screen can only be seen if youre directly in front of it so sharing with a child to help them is tricky but overall I think it's great for learning the alphabet and numbers

Birthday present for my 2 year old niece. This was a bit of a rush purchase but couldn't be happier with the Leapfrog Laptop. The handle was very useful for small hands to carry and the interactive games were great. Easy to use and looks fab. I think my niece felt very grown up having her own laptop, little does she realise it's super educational and child friendly.

Gift for 3yr old daughter and she loved it. Plenty of activities to keep ger busy and she’s already learning a few words from using it. Only side is the screen doesn’t lock/click in to place when changing from touch screen mode to laptop mode. My daughter got frustrated initially with the screen constantly rotating as she played but she got used to it.

Well what an amazing little laptop. bought for my 2 year old girl and she adores it.Takes it everywhere with her and I love it as it’s educational with counting and the alphabet.Would certainly recommend and what’s makes it better is it comes with batteries included ready to use on the way home in the car like we did!

Returned another item because it only had 1, 2 & 3 and a, b & c. The screen was also just a picture. For only £10 more this has numbers up to 10, the whole alphabet & an interactive screen in both a laptop position or like a tablet. My two year old loves it & it will last a long time helping her with her development.

This is the second one of these we have bought for our two year old son, he broke the first one (it isn’t easy to break but let’s just say it was user error) my son loves it!! And after just a few days he was repeating the letters and sounds, we were very impressed and this second one is still going strong
