Item relatively easy to pop on and an essential with a 2.5yr old in case of drops and knocks. Plus I wish to protect it so I can sell it on when my daughter grows out of it. Strong Gel Rubber.Paid £5 which is a fair enough price (RRP £9.99 - TOO expensive for this item.). Annoying though that the price fluctuates between £2 and £10!! Keep your eye open for a better price if at full price!LeapPad 1 case is pretty similar (I bought one by mistake and then ordered the Leappad 2 one thinking it would be heaps different - it's not!) but would need minor alterations to holes to be suitable LeapPad 2: i.e Stylus Pen 'tether'

A very nice, strong and sturdy protective case. Bought this to go with my little uns new leappad 2 and very pleased with it.It's a nice tough case that completely covers the back and sides of the leappad and a small area around the front edges, this creates a lip that stops the face of the leappad getting damaged if dropped on it's face.All the cutouts for the stylus, camera, buttons and cartridge slot are all perfect and the case fits nice and snug so no worries of it coming off in use. It also has 2 non slip sections on the back that keep it in place if it's resting on a table or other flat surface which is a nice feature.We got the purple one and my daughter loves it because it also has glitter in the case.

Bear in mind the cost of the LeapPad it is worth getting the cover. It does protect the LeapPad; the only drawback I found was that it was a bit awkward removing the cover (maybe the reason is that it is “child proof” children are not able to remove it).It would be good if other colours were available although the purple goes well with the pink LeapPad.

Santa left this for my 5 year old & a green one for my 3 year old and they are great products. The leappads have been dropped a few times & no breakages! They are bright & colourful and easy to clean. They don't scratch easily and seem very durable. they are easy for adults to remove & refit but not for little hands to do.

Brought this for my 5 year old daughter to try and give a little protection to her leappad and it does this completely. Only problem is that when I need to take the batterys out to charge them, 3 weekly, the cover sits so tight on there that it can be quite hard, but overall a brilliant product and would buy again!!

As annoyed as I was that I had to purchase another one of these (had sold old Leappad and kept cover) I can't argue with the quality or price (this was the best I could find). If your little one has a Leappad and you want to keep it in good condition this is a must for me.

Definitely worth to invest in. My girl's LeapPad finished on the floor loads of times, but this case definitely protects it. Only thing I would mention is the sparkles inside the skin - not definitely my favorite bit. I thought it is just purple:)

These are a must for anyone with kids that like to be kids, when they're playing with their leapads in the garden I'm always weary about the way they drop or put things down but these perfect fit gel skins really do protect them...

Well made skin for my daughters leappad, very good quality. Fits the console very well. Much better to purchase this rather than a cheap imitation. I loved the purple colour for my 4 year old.

I bought this for my daughters Leap Pad 2. It appears to do what it says on the tin! The Leap Pad has been dropped a couple of times and has not been damaged. Would recommend this product.

Nice product...because the leap pad itself feels a bit slippery...so the gel skin is quite useful for leap pad protection, my daughter liked it...and its easy for her to hold it.

Bought this to protect my daughter's Leap Pad. It certainly does that. With a busy 2 yr old always trying to get at it, it gets the odd knock so I'm glad it has the gel skin!!

Brillant protective cover, has a sparkle to it which my daughter likes. Has already been dropped quite a few times so must be doing its job as the leap pad is still working.

Contacted seller asking for particular colour, was advised product had already been dispatched & if not preferred colour, would exchange it. Colour actually was as required.
