This certainly isn't an item that would normally be used in an everyday scenario. It is perfect, however, for the dreaded 'Oh god I've forgotten something important' situation and you have no idea where to turn! This would paint a lobotomised smile across anyone's face when you reveal a hot, bubbling chocolate pudding inside (or something equally as overwhelmingly sweet). The recipients' thoughts of blame and accusation will wither away as she (or he) stares deeply into the steaming concoction, leaving ample time for you to make your escape.Satisfaction Guaranteed!

These ramekins are perfect to use during a romantic meal for two. They perform in exactly the same way as normally shaped ramekins, but just add that little extra something special to the proceedings.I have used mine to cook little soufflés, as well as chocolate fondant; indeed, anything you cook in a ramekin can be cooked in these heart-shaped versions. They clean up well in the dishwasher. I like them, although they tend to be something that does not get a huge amount of use, no matter how romantic you are.

I've owned four of these for years and have recently added two more, there is no difference in colour despite how long ive had the previous four and how many times they've been used and washed.Handy for so many things but we mainly use them for fancy baked sponge puddings or choc mousse.weve also used them for serving individual choc fondu for the kids and special meals.although heavy i feel this is one of those " you get what you pay for " items.Well worth the money and will last a lifetime

I love these ramekins. They were bought for me for my 30th birthday by some friends along with the casserole. Others have commented on the shape but I don't find them at all hard to clean (and I don't have a dishwasher). I have put individual portions of gratin dauphinoise in them on the savoury side as well as desserts such as creme brulee, apple sponges and soufflés.I also have the Alessi heart shaped coffee spoons which, although small, work very well with the ramekins.

After seeing these in my sisters cupboard I have purchased these and intend to purchase several more for gifts. These make the perfect wedding, engagement, valentines, romantic present. The make speaks for itself and looks great on any dining table. I couldn't have enough of these in my cupboard and love the colour, although I do think they are more red than cerise which is all the better!

As far as heart ramekins go, I would say this is one of the best in the world. Excellent quality, renowned make and a real solid feel, and the colour in it is fantastic. My girlfriend loved it, hopefully will be cooking me lots of nice things in it :) Absolute bargain.

5 stars, Le Creuset all the way! I brought two of these with the heart casserole with lid for an anniversary present to my partner. We love all things Le Creuset and this was just perfect. Cute, matching and very useful!

This is the perfect size for individual potato dauphinoise or pie's / mousse etc. Perhaps a little big for cheescake but can be used for soooo many dishes.They look great, especailly for valentines!

This is so cute, and perfect for one-portion starters and desserts -I have made soups, mini pies, baked eggs, all sorts in these, they are seriously lovely and also easy to clean!

I use these for everything! snacks, souffle's, creme brulee's, dips. ice cream. They're surprisingly deep and hold a lot, everyone always comments on them in the positive

Came exactly as I expected, lovely rich colour to compliment any dining service. It'swashes well but I'd sooner not put it in a dishwasher...it'll last longer.

These are adorable! I'm giving two as a wedding gift and I've decided to also keep two for me. :DI think they will be perfect for individual souffles.
