The grinding action is great. This thing practically throws a shower of pepper when you want it to.I like the style.Head is easy to take apart and clean.The one small problem is the way the head is threaded onto the base. It can be a real struggle to take it off after a long time being on, and there's only a small and smooth area to grab at. And taking on and off is only half a turn, which seems weird but hasn't been an issue...Anyway, I am strong man, is no problem. But for someone's grandmother it definitely could be a deal breaker.

I love my black pepper and in the past have gone through many different grinders, including the more expensive brands. My sister introduced me to Kuhn Rikon grinders 2 years ago and I will now never buy another make. Robust and durable, the fact that they are the opposite way up to most grinders is a massive plus as they don't make a mess on the table and in the cupboard.

Our existing C&M salt grinder was doing a terrible job, so I was searching for a replacement with good reviews. This one is brilliant. So far, easy to clean and grinds a substantial amouny of salt for little to no effort. I also like that this grinder is on the top, as bottom grinders leave a mess everywhere they go. For the price, I'm really pleased with the quality.

These are absolutely the best. We recently moved into a new place, tried a few different brands that had colors and designs that worked better -- every one of them went into the donation box! Disgusted. Lickety split back to this brand, tried and true. Don't waste your time and money with another brand; this is the one you want.

I've had this for a couple months now and have used it daily to grind salt. The grinding mechanism is well designed and is adjustable for different coarseness. The grinder top and base are made from plastic and the main body is glass. Note that the top only requires half a turn to open/close it. Overall a very good grinder!

It's not easy to find something to grind flaxseed with, but this grinder does the job.It's pretty big and doesn't have the most practical design to hold while turning and turning,but the result is great. It can take a few minutes of work to grind enough, but you canadjust how course the grind should be pretty accurately.

I have the larger size grinders, which are wonderful. I really wanted another one for course salts and dried herbs. Unfortunately, the larger grinders are not available. I'm satisfied with my purchase and will most likely buy another.

Good looking and grinds easily and finely. Seems more durable than previous pepper grinders I have had which have shown signs of wear after only a few months use.

Fantastic item tried all the rest and this is the best. You can alter the grinder which is perfect it's a great size too,looks really cool

Easy to obtain fine or medium grind salt. I have been using regularly since I received and I have not had any sort of disappointment

Doesn't do a bad job with flax seeds & is great for pepper, nice design so overall I'm quite happy with this.

This is a good grinder and the best I have found, but still wears out relatively quickly, less than 2years
