I am a big fan of Kobo’s, I went from a Kobo Touch to a Glo across the years and they are still working. Only reason why I changed them was the newer was technologically better (Glo e.g. had back light, which Touch hadn’t). And so is this Libra, compared to the Glo. Bigger screen, better response, huge 8 GB hd, smart back light. You can also borrow books from local libraries which is a great feature. Much better than Kindle, which doesn’t allow you to read from different sources than Amazon’s.

I bought this to replace an older Kobo that had served me well for many years. After two weeks with the Libra it seems to be a definite improvement, faster and more responsive and the side ledge with buttons is much more convenient to hold.My only gripe with it is the battery life, my old model used to get about a week and a half between charges with heavy use, this one gets four or five days. Not terrible but could be better. All in all a decent upgrade which was worth the price.

Initial setup was straightforward and the Libra H2O is a pleasure to read with. The orange appearance of the screen at night felt strange at first, but it makes for a more comfortable reader experience.Connecting to Overdrive was somewhat tricky, not having done it before, but works well. This was my reason for buying the device rather than the Kindle Oasis with the same size screen. Battery life seems a little worse than my seven year old kindle, but not disappointing.

...I liked the more premium look, but couldn’t justify forking out £200+ for Kindle Oasis. The other swaying factor was that I wanted to read (without added purchase expense) the Harry Potter ebook bundle I bought through Kobo a few years back. It may be my first e-reader but given the offerings around I’m glad I didn’t just rush in and buy the first one I laid eyes on. To each their own, but I’m very happy with my choice, and I haven’t read any books on my iPad mini since!

The Libra H2o is an ideal size, a good 7" screen. I really like the re-introduction of page turning buttons. whilst still being able to use the touch screen as well. Lots of fonts and font sizes to choose from. Good battery life - I haven't had to recharge it yet - it's still at 50% after 17 days use at about an hour a day.The Comfort Light feature takes the harshness of the white light away at night, giving a relaxing amber screen. All in all an an excellent ereader

I am really enjoying using the Kobo Libra H2O. I have found it easy to set up and simple to use. I am reading so much more than before - about 11 ebooks in the last 2 weeks since I got the Kobo. This is because it's so nice to use and you can get virtually any book you want from the Kobo store when you need a new book. I considered the Amazon Paperwhite too but glad I went for the Kobo, mainly due to slightly larger size and physical page turn buttons. Highly recommended.

I did loads of research on which e-reader to buy. I spent weeks looking at all options and brands. I'm happy I went with this Kobo model. It's very light and compact, the buttons on the side are very useful for page turning, no need to touch the screen. Perfect for reading outside in the summer and at night. You can adjust the light settings. You can access library books online from your local libraries for free. Purchasing from Kobo store is very easy. Also waterproof.

This is my first e-reader and all in all I am very pleased with it. The 7" screen and the physical buttons on the side make it very comfortable to use. It is £100 cheaper than the Amazon equivalent and more important it is much easier to add your own ebooks books without having to convert them to a particular format. Also, no ads to annoy you like the Kindle. The screen is a bit glitchy when navigating the interface but does not detract from the overall experience.

Unlike some other e-readers the Kobo Libra H20 does not lock you in to only using their services. You can plug this into a computer and upload your own eBooks, magazines, comics, pictures and even PDF files which his awesome. It's a small unit, really light and the battery lasts for ages. The screen is large enough to easily read from and the 'comfort-ligh't is great for reading at night with. You can also unlock the developer mode and play games on it :)

The e reader is not affiliated to Amazon so the e books can be purchased from anywhere. Mostly I get mine from the kobo shop but I can also download books from the local library and other book shops. The e-reader is easy to use with buttons to turn pages. It has an outstanding battery life and a screen that recognises the time of the day and dims down close to bed time. It is waterproof too so no need to worry if you are reading it on a beach.

Bought so I could read library books, had been using libby on phone, but dedicated reader seemed like a worthwhile investment. Kids have used it almost as much as I have which is a bonus. Overdrive took a bit of setting up on multiple library cards, also doesn't seem to support multiple users eg kids profiles or multiple library cards so that i can put the kids library cards on there. Would have been nice to have but still amazing device!

Having previously owned a kindle paper white I much prefer my new Kobo. The screen is larger, the ‘page’ is sharper and the side page buttons are user friendly. The screen view can be rotated to read in landscape or so that the buttons are to the left or right. When the kobo is put in to sleep / off mode the cover of the book being read is the screen saver, which I think is a great feature. I am very happy with my purchase!

This is a great e-reader. The ability to read internet articles via ‘pocket’ is very nice addition. Some form of wireless sync for documents would be good but it is easy enough to connect to PC via usb to load content. Landscape mode makes it easy to read pdfs without having to zoom. The overall design and location of buttons is very good, It is very light and so has a permanent place in my bedside table now!

Got this for my wife, who's been a satisfied Kobo user for many years. She loves her new Kobo Libra - it's got a slightly bigger screen than her old one, and she particularly likes the new design which makes it more like a real book. The best bit as far as she is concerned are the actual physical buttons for turning the pages. So, based on her feedback, the Kobo Libra H2O is definitely recommended.

The design of this e-reader is great. Turning pages is a breeze and I even feel this helps to read faster. Great design, large enough screen, light weight, easy to transfer e-pub and pdfs, as well as articles stored in Pocket. The only downside is that is not possible to annotate pdf files, only e-pub.Arrived the same day of purchase. Great service Argos. Thanks!
