I was initially hesitant due to price, but it was worth it. The larger screen size makes it great for illustrated books, manga, comics, and graphic novels. I love it - it's fast, light weight to hold when reading, and the front light makes reading easy in lower light situations.I partly bought this with work use in mind, and as it has Dropbox you can use it for reading Pdf, text, and other document file types. The Pocket app means you can save web pages to read as articles on the ereader.

This is my first dedicated E Reader so I cant compare it to others. It is very light for holding when your on your side in bed. You can adjust the brightness easily by swiping your finger down the side of the page.The buttons are great for page turning and the display rotates easily from Pt to landscape. It does mark very easily at the button strip where you hold it. Is it worth the price compared to a Paperwhite or an Android tablet or Kindle???? Hmmmm. 6 months down the line I might know

Kobo Forma is the 4th gen. of Kobo readers which I have owned, and so far I am extremely satisfied--it has finally reached the level of convenience I was continually hoping for:1) screen large enough to read many pdf-format texts without reformatting, as well as epub and .mobi2) physical buttons and fairly responsive touchscreen3) nippy performance and good battery life4) v. nice backlight5) v. light construction (though I'm using a magnetic cover adds quite a bit to the heft)

Battery of my old Touch was fading, so figured time to replace it. This Forma model seems to be the latest release from Kobo and has the biggest screen of their "fleet" so far.I'm very impressed with the clarity of the screen compared to the old Touch. The words appear much more "on the surface" of the screen rather than "under" a layer as they appear on the old Touch.Speedier too, such as the page turns almost instant.Screen lighting is very handy at times.Love it.

A replacement for my long in the tooth (but admittedly still working great) previous Kobo. I didn't really want to go the Amazon route as I want to be able to easily load books from other/multiple suppliers - epubs, pdfs etc, and I like the larger screen offered by the Kobo Forma. The larger, high res screen is great, the device is light, grippy and easy to hold. Had a couple of teething problems with setup but got everything sorted and overall very pleased with the Forma.

If like me you want a bigger screen on your reader (and maybe don't want to give even more money to Amazon) then this one (and the other models) do the trick.It's got a big screen, it's really light and the hardware buttons are something that I did not know I was missng until trying them (I upgraded from a Aura One).It integrates with Dropbox, Pocket and Overdrive (allowing you to borrow ebooks from your library directly from the device).

Can't use the overdrive function as most UK library's don't use this. Wasn't able to purchase a book on the kobo, so had to purchase on my phone to get started. Wasn't accepting card details for some reason and the screen kept going funny, was tempted to return it. Only had it a couple of weeks, purchased one book and reading at the moment, all seems ok so far.

Is very light, the quality of the text is incredible- easy to read in any light. Have already uploaded books from the library for free and the Kobo software has been very simple to use. You can read one handed for hours as is so light. Have not tested waterproofing, but battery lasts for multiple books and charges in no time.

Great ereader, large screen, the E-ink is as close to ink from a paper book as I have seen in any ereader. The large bezel at the side makes it extremely comfortable to hold when reading for longer sessions. The buttons are a welcome addition to easily press for next page.

Pros:Great e-reader. I like the big screen and integration with Dropbox, Pocket, and Overdrive (you can borrow ebooks on-line from your library - you need a library card and pin) is very convenient.Cons:The backlight isn't perfectly uniform.

I love my new Kobo. It's light and feels premium quality and has the added advantage of being able to borrow books from the library via Overdrive and read at night with Comfort Light. Really recommended.

I bought this as I wanted something to read PFF and EpubsAm extremely happy with this the Battery life is Excellent compared to The Kindle Oasis. It does the job.

I like it but the only thing that I don't like it you can't leave it on the same way that you left it you just have to keep turning it around
