I was never big on Star Wars plush toys: though being a fan all my life, I considered the action figures and models as the proper way of replicating and collecting the characters. Still, when I saw this product, I thought that actually some few characters of the saga deserve a cuddly plush version and Chewie is the firstmost of them (perhaps also the Ewoks could do).The picture doens't do the doll justice (the one I received, at least) is actually more similar to the true image of the charcter than the super-fluffy poodle-looking doll in the picture: the fur tends to sag a little more, or you can push it down or pose it a little, and overall looks much more faithful to the real Chewbecca.

My 5 year old niece chose this, after seeing the plush Yoda i bought for my other niece, who is 18 months old, and the artoo plush unit for my nephew, three.What can i say, it is so cute, and that chewbacca growl is lovely, i am sure my little angels will love playing with these on xmas day, i am even tempted to get myself the Darth Vader one =)

I bought this for my Mum. She's a bit weird and likes cuddly toys but at least our tastes can converge for Chewbacca. He is every bit as cool (she might say cute) as the pictures suggest. It also sounds just like a wookee when you press the button - it's a proper Chewie sound."WAGRRRRWWGAHHHHWWWRRGGAWWWWWWRR."

A little disappointed with the size for the price although it is stated that it's 9 inches. Other than that my son loves it as he really likes Star wars so in that respect it was a hit and is great. However I do think the product is a little on the expensive side for it's size and what it does.

This was a gift to my friend so unfortunately I can't give too many details.It did, however, bring a lot of joy (she's 20) and was definitely appreciated. I imagine someone younger might have the same reactions to it as it really is a fun, fluffy toy which talks and makes fun noises.

I bought this as a gift for my friend's son for his fifth birthday. I had it sent directly to her address so have never seen it. She tells me he loves it hence the 5 stars. It did arrive in good time and, quite honestly took the bother out of shopping for a five year old.

This was a gift for a co-worker who regularly references the "Chewbacca Defense". It is a small cute doll which makes a pretty accurate Chewbacca roar when squeezed. The only complaint is that finding the right spot to squeeze on the doll is a bit difficult.

Great hairdryer when it works. The first to arrive could not be switched on. This had to be returned. The new replacement works perfectly.It is a shame, as it took a lot away from the purchase, getting one that didn't work

Bought this for our 4 year old Star-Wars-fan Son for Christmas. He wasn't as impressed as I was but I'm sure he'll warm to it! I think it's just a cute plush toy which makes adorabe Chewee noises...as simple as that!

This was my Mum's Christmas present and she was thrilled. I think she would be happier if he talked a wee bit louder but other than that he is adorable. We regularly hear him speaking on the phone for some reason!

daughter wanted a wookey, so got her this...... hoped it would make more than the standard wookey noise ( a few different moans would have made it a tad less infuriating for those around) but my daughter likes it

I bought this Chewbacca because it looks like my puppywho is a Bichon-poo,no other reason.It is lovely andso cute.I think I will give it to my Grandaughter,whenI have finished playing with it.I love it!

My 3 year old loves this, especially as it makes a wookie(ish) noise!As a grown up Star Wars fan then it'd be easy to pick faults in what it looks like, but as a kid what more to say than it's Chewie!

My Grandson of 6 is Star Wars mad and loved this when I got it for him.It is cute and talks pretty well.It is good value for the price I paid which was about 12 quid.

This a great item, not sure about it been a toy as I have bought it for my better half as a pressie as she loved the noise it made.Value for money and a great item.
