I was a bit worried about ordering these CD-Rs after reading some adverse reviews here, but since they were ranked as Amazon.co.uk's 11 most popular buy at the time, I thought I'd take a chance. I'm glad I did.I've never been able to burn them successfully at high speed, but at 16x they give no problems at all. This is faster than some other cheap disks I've used. For the record, my burners are a Sony CRX320AE (52x32x52x16x) and an AOpen CRW5224 (54x24x52x).I've used hundreds of them so far for computer files, with virtually no problems (let's say any rejects have been my own fault!). I've been selling recorded software disks (legally!)

Unlike many of the reviewers on this page, I've never had any trouble with these discs. I've been using them off and on for about a year and have probably burnt in excess of 500 discs, and at a guess had perhaps 2 or 3 failures - although I can't necessarily say this was down to bad discs, I could have scratched them putting them into the drive etc. It could be that some batches of discs are better than others (as one reviewer below suggested) or it may be that this brand is more compatible with some CD writers than others (?). My own suggestion is try one batch and if they work assume they generally always will, and if they don't, either use another brand or change your CD writer.

I have used many CDRs, and these stand out as the very best.100 CDRs for 9 quid is excellent value, and when the total of your shopping basket is over 15 pounds, then Amazon's superb free delivery service makes the money go even further. Also, there is lots space on which to write disc info etc. which is very helpful if you cram as much as possible onto them (as I do!)Value - 9/10Quality - 10/10 - I have not had 1 faulty burn with these yet, and I will be purchasing more in the near future.Overall, a brilliant buy. If you are looking for some inexpensive yet durable CDRs, then look no further, you will not get much better than this.

This product is great. Not only do you get double the amout of cds that you would normally get in a shop for that price, but i have used 100's of this product and have not had any failures.Also the cds do not get scratched one bit after burning onto them.Imation have done a very gd job with this product, making it reliable, so well done to them. I have looked around and amazon have the best offer on this product which is great.So if you want blank, cheap and good quality cds then buy them now. (100 cds for around £12) what a bargin. So Buy This.And Enjoy : )

I have burnt more than 200 of these CDs and have not had a single one fail on me!!! I have used them in my 52X drive (burning at 52X always) to burn my data (backup of hard drive) and Video Cds (VCD) and also Audio Cds. All work perfectly 1st time.I cant recommend these too highly. The only let down maybe there are no jewel cases, but i find them too bulky for the amount of CDs i burn anyway!Also the top of the Cds are great, they are mostly blank so you have plenty of room to use a CDR marker pen to write the content on it.

I have always bought Imation CD-R's, DVD+R's & DVD+RW's. I have never once had a single disc that has not worked. Whether it was one of these Imation CD's or an Imation DVD I have never had a single problem.I use the following drives to write on my discs:Ricoh MP5240A DVD+RW/+RPhilips CDRW4800Samsung (Not sure what model)I can only presume that anybody who does have problems with these discs either aren't doing something correctly or they have crappy CD Writers.

Imation discs seem very good to meI personally burn my discs at a middle/semi high speed ( 24X ) and very rarely have errors ( like a 1 in 20/30 ratio i'd get an error ) ... i dunno what the success rate is at higher speeds ... but i can rarely be bothered to risk it ....So yeah you get alot of discs for your money .... it works out around just over 10p / under 20p per CD .....So yeah get one of these packs if you need to back up alot of work / files !!

I used about 700 of these discs, in 3 different burners, only about 5 failures.There are no issues with burning audio either. I have recently compared music on cds that I burnt a year ago to the files on my computer, they are bit for bit the same! Over a year and no distortion what so ever. These bad reviews must be down to problems with their burners or cd players orthe user not knowing what they are doing. These discs are perfect.

I used to use these and must have burned 300 without a single dud. I briefly switched to Verbatim's which were equally reliable and only did so because at the time Amazon were doing them cheaper. I'm back to Imations because I found the capacity is actually slightly larger than the Verbatim's. I consistently get 82 minutes of audio on these whereas the Verbatim's average just under 81 minutes.Highly recommended.

It's not the first time I've ordered these CD-rs, but for the first time, there were some minor scratches on quite a few of the discs. As it is impossible to say whether these scratches are down to the royal mail, I can't really blame the seller. However, since I feel I have to judge the delivered item, this review has to be four stars only. On the positive side, the packet did arrive promptly!

Imation, made by a Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing (3-M) subsidiary in Asia, is an excellent brand for music, data, photography, or video. At 15.75 pence apiece, they're a bargain, and, in my opinion, just as good as the more expensive brands like Fuji, Maxell, or TDK, and better than those made by Memorex. They arrived in perfect condition on a solid spindle.

Been using these since 2003 and I have now gone through 2500+ (now 5000+, July 2013 update) of these without a single disc problem! Those who have left bad reviews are doing something wrong or have software problems. Couldn't recommend them any higher.I never choose a write speed faster than 8x ;I think you're asking for trouble if you write super fast.

On reading the two previous reviews I would be discouraged to buy these CDR's, however I thought I would let other customers know that I have used a full 100 stack of these CDR's and have not had a single problem/glitch when copying music. I have virtually solely used these CDR's for copying music for my car and never experienced a problem.

These disc's have worked perfectly fine for me. The thing i like, which may or may not be of importance to you, is that the actual disc is quite plain on top. It can be annoying when there's big logo's or designs across the disc. The disc is one colour, with "imation" and the disc's details in small shiny text across the centre of the disc.
