I think these are economical ink cartridges, particularly the black. The printer they go in is a pile of junk but the ink itself is relatively economical for an inkjet and does produce good colours. The black lasts ages, I don't have a page estimate but we print a lot of educational texts bought as pdfs and these cartridges will print a lot of pages. I considered switching to a laser but found there wasn't a significant saving and while the printer struggles on I will be happy to buy these cartridges. I do think HP make their money from the ink rather than the printers, and it is pretty hard to find these cartridges cheap.

I buy these for our HP 7500 E910 printer/copier/scan/fax machine. We tend to get around 400'ish pages of mixed full colour text and pics printing before the HP Printer software tells us they're ALL running out... not just the 'yellow' one or the 'blue' one... but ALL of them... and because of that, I've never ever had the opportunity to buy any of the cartridges individually so this ends up being my default purchase. Doesn't feel like fabulous value... but what genuine printer consumable ever does!? Print quality is excellent though... can't fault that....

I hate buying ink carts! I find them to be way overpriced! When I saw that an XL cart was available for my printer I got it! There isn't much to say about the cart except it is big, and will yield far more pages than the standard one. (I have heard that you can also refill this one, though I haven't tried to as I have not needed to). I would say this is good value, if maybe slightly overpriced genuine ink cart. Printing quality is just fine, haven't mucked about with uber-nice greyscale prints...

I haven't used these yet but assuming that I have no problems, I have to say the price is good. If you pop into many stores to buy these individually, you'll probably go into shock at the price you could pay. These are the genuine cartridges also. I used to buy the cheaper makes for my other printer but found so many didn't work- so there's something to be said for genuine HP cartridges, plus they use the correct ink of course and not powder paints from the local primary school ;-)

These 4 ink cartridges are genuine HP. I installed them in my HP 6500+ printer. The screen confirmed genuine cartridges installed. Printer works beautifully. It may all seem pretty obvious but I ordered 're-manufactured, compatible' cartridges from another supplier first and these were rejected by the printer. Not the fault of the initial supplier as they had clearly labelled the product but be aware your HP printer may not take to 'compatibles'.

Good quality & seem to last a reasonable time. Expensive compared to non-branded refills yes, but at least you know that they are designed by HP for their machine, and very unlikely to clog it up, damage the printer, invalidate any warranty etc which is the risk you run otherwise with those cheaper, riskier alternatives. Amazon was the cheapest price I could find on-line at that time, and significantly cheaper than the big retail names.

The delivery was fine, as usual.However I bought this pack with the HP 5740 printer in error, convinced that it was the right type of cartridge for the printer, as it was presented as "often bought together" advise when I bought the printer.I would like to return it and obtain a refund. Incidentally I have purchased two sets of the appropriate cartridge in the meantime.Please let me know what I have to do to return it.Thanks!

What can I say? It's the ink I need for my printer. It's not a bad price, it produces a pretty good quality print, although I wouldn't use the printer I have for photos. It does the job.Also don't believe the people who keep saying that this is 'fake' ink. It's the same stuff you'd buy in the shops, or have sent directly from HP it just cost a couple of quid less.

No problem with this order. Arrived quickly. Genuine inks, performing well. All 4 cartridges arrived in the original multi-pack as shown.I felt confident with this order and supplier, unlike another supplier who sent 4 single cartridges with no proper HP packaging in 4 separate envelopes which made it difficult to judge whether they were genuine.

For my 80th birthday the kids bought me this all in one hp printer because it was able to print in A3 and this made it possible for me to do my watercolours up to this size when printing them off. Plus the ability to do the same with photographs too. So the need for good quality inks for the printer is essential and I am very satisfied. ablo 81

Having had problems with recycled cartridges just not being recognised as full by my printer, I decided to see if full price cartridges would prove that this was not a problem with the printer itself. It worked first time with the HP cartridges so iin this circumstance they were worth it compared to cheaper recycled alternatives.

It's amazing how yellow brings sunshine to life! Before I installed the new HP (accept no substitute or your warranty will be invalid) the sun was nicotine smear. I know this summer wasn't great and yet there were some sunny days. With this beautifully crafted inkjet cartridge my showers are always golden.

This is a cost effective bundle of inks, which works out a lot cheaper than buying each cartridge individually. The cartridges slot in with a minimum of fuss and there is none of the alignment nonsense you get with some manufacturers. There are no non-HP versions of these cartridges available.

How to review an ink cartridge?You install it in the printer and it just works.The printer did not complain about the cartridge not being a genuine HP and thanked me for buying a genuine HP cartridge.This is not always the case when buying cheaper cartridges that pretend to be HP.

These are good quality inks as is the printer they were purchased for, however, as with most things the price does need to be reduced somewhat. The price does mean a printer of this quality is out of reach of a lot of people unfortunately. Would have given a 5 star rating otherwise.
