I was given a second hand HP deskjet by my Dad, its a 950C. Its a great little printer and is capable of photo-quality prints and the usual inkjet output. I had been using Printerinks recycled cartridges for over 6 years as you could buy 4 or 5 times the amount of ink for a branded cartridge. Everything was fine. Then for no reason Printerinks decided to change their ink and do a re-brand of their products. The result? Cartridges that don't work at all and in fact leak ink everywhere. At first I thought it was my poor old printer and old printer heads.I decided to buy a 'proper' branded HP cartridge just to see if the printer could work and hey presto - perfect prints.I still have a Printerink black cartridge in there and thats being a pain now as the ink isn't working correctly. Sorry Printerinks if you change your ink and try to rip off customers you'll find they won't shop with you and go look elsewhere.I'm sticking to HP from now on, even though most of the printing I do is for Cub Scouts [which is a charity] I think its better to pay for quality and know what you're getting. Perfect printing, fine clean colour that lasts. The cartridge I bought in August last year and lasted 5 months. Its black and white really, don't get into the murky grey world of dodgy refilled cartridges by Printerinks!

A good solid ink cartridge that produces nice carbon-rich pigment ink. Ideal if, like me, you use the prints in a thermal copier. Pricey, but then all ink cartridges are these days. The downside is that many of the sellers are selling expired ink cartridges! I bought one in January 2019, & the cartridge I received had an expiry date of July 2013! The seller had coincidentally placed their own barcode sticker over the expiry date.So make sure you check the expiry, it should be on the bottom right corner of the back of the box. (It's not on the cartridge or the plastic bag, so if the cartridge is being sold without the box then it's probably expired.)At the current prices it's worth checking theexpiry date with the seller before buying.

I was a bit concerned. This product was at least £10 cheaper than I could get it anywhere else (and for some shops Amazon was nearly £20 cheaper). I took the risk that I might somehow be getting an inferior product - and I am so pleased I did. The item arrived in full original HP packaging, slotted into my printer - and it works. I have been without colour on my printer for over a year - somehow never getting around to trying this out. I feel pretty stupid - but pleased I have finally found a good cheaper source of cartridges.

This HP Print cartridge is great. It prints both text and photos (on glossy paper) with precision and haste. However, HP have yet to develop the seperate cartridges for each colour so wastage is inevitable when one colour runs out. A great product nonetheless. HP inks are also better in my experience than the "replacement" cartridges available, especially when printing photographs.

Apart that is from the fact that the RRP is an insane and rip off price but that at the prices available here and in some other places are starting to approach reasonable. They are good inks where the colours will last a long time in your photos and I prefer to use them than refills where the colours of the printed photo are often very poor as far as longevity is concerned.

Although my HP 750 is getting a bit long in the tooth now, it is still very reliable. I started using refilled cartridges because of the cost of the HP 15 and HP 75 new cartridges. But, some of these did not work correctly, so I reverted to buying the cheapest I could find. The cartridge works well, as advertised with no problems. At the price I am very happy with it.

I love my HP Deskjet 930c printer that I have had since 2000. If you get good quality ink the effect is photographic and stunning. Just have to be careful with some suppliers who I think sell reconditioned ones as new. Have returned a few when I suspected this. Until the cartridges are no longer produced or become rediculously expensive I shall continue to use it.

Initially I received a cartridge which I thought seemed sticky and perhaps damaged although very clearly in original sealed packaging. On e-mailing Quigleys I received an immediate apology and an offer of replacement or refund. I accepted replacement which arrived within 48hours and is perfect so full marks for promtness, courtesy and sound customer service.

Having purchased the 'original' product and not a compatible I was very disappointed when, for several weeks, my printer would not accept the black cartridge, always showing a "check the black cartridge" message. This has now rectified itself but caused unwarranted concern. I am hoping the colour cartridge when installed will not encounter the same problem.

What can I say - it's a printer cartridge. It allows my otherwise useless printer to become more than just an ornament. It arrived quickly, was fitted in no time and works so I gave it 4 stars. It probably would have got 5 stars if it had been cheaper but I'm being pedantic now. This review also applies to the black cartridge I bought at the same time.

I'm a low-usage printer. I've tried quite a few alternative ink cartridges from other suppliers and always come back to buying the originals. The others all fail in one way or another - usually getting gummed up. The originals are consistent until they are empty - may cost more, but much better value.

Previously I had been using other cheaper cartridges or refilled cartridges which didn't cut the mustard for me, decided to go for this and payed a little extra than I had been and haven't looked back, have noticed a big difference in colour printing colours and quality, will stick to this in future!

22.10.2013

As far as I can tell, this has lasted as long as it should so I have no issues. HP cartridges are expensive but the refillable sort cause all sorts of problems so I try to buy originals. I only hope I can continue to buy them until my printer breaks down as it is over 12 years old now!

Delighted with purchase. Good value for money and delighted with prompt response. Have never tried buying printer ink on the net before but will gladly do so again. A lot cheaper than buying from usual supplier and speed of delivery cancelled all feelings of worry about running out.

5.5.2010

Whilst I understand the importance of customer feedback, I find it irritating being questioned on every single purchase. Surely you could take 'snap shots' and not bother your customers on every single item. I shall not be responding to any more customer surveys.
