When Hp sell you a new printer they supply a Hp 342 (c9361ee) colour and a Hp 336 (c9362ee) black cartridge. Well these cartridges only hold 5mls of ink each which is written in really really small writing on the backs of the cartridge boxes. For higher yield cartridges the black cartridge what you really need is the Hp 337/338 which holds 11mls of ink or the extra high yield Hp 399 which holds 21mls of ink. There is a company that I use (advantage online) which stock a British premium compatible 337/338 which holds 24mls of ink and a 339 British premium compatible that hold a incredible 34mls of ink. Hp make there money out of selling you a very good printer but then sell you cartridges that have hardly any ink in them (336 & 342).

Initially I was sent the wrong cartridge by IJT - it looked similar to a 336 but would not work in my printer. Sent 2 emails to the supplier IJT and 1 to amazon. This all took about two weeks. After some time I got a response and a returns number and returned the item. I received a brand new 336 after a couple of days.OK in the end but not sure why I was sent wrong cartridge in first place. It was a 132 or something looks exactly the same as 336 but would not work in my printer. Beware!

Well with the price of printer inks at an all time high & dearer than vintage champagne, I could not resist buying 2 of these, usual HP quality ink but at a fraction of high street price.I know we are all encouraged to use our local shops, but in my experience how can WHSmith justify selling these at well over twice the price !

not exactly an enthusiast of HP's [and others] strategy of low priced printers, expensive inks but, at least, these black cartridges are original and less costly that anything I could find at any store around home. So, all considered, not cheap, certainly cheaper...

Having spent the best part of a day trying to find reasonably priced ink cartridges i found this on amazon. It arrived quickly and was brand new and does what it says on the box. At these prices will defiantly be ordering one again.

Bought this when it was reduced to £3.95 as a backup and figured if it didn't work then it wasn't the end of the world for the price paid. Just installed it however and it works great, would definitely buy from this company again.

Apparently the fluid in these cartridges is more expensive than any champagne, I need them so I'm stuck but these are cheaper than in any stores and recycled cartridges can let you down

Genuine HP quality cartridge at a very competitive price. Have ordered before and have never had any trouble with cartridge unlike some "remanufactured" ones I have previously bought.

I had purchased inks from another source but the printer developed a fault. I then purchased inks from Amazon and the printer fault vanished and the end result was first class.

Not the cheapest of cartridges but I do like HP products in general and these come at a reasonable price, compared to list prices, with good delivery service. Would recommend.

HP ink cartridges are great. Not much one can say about an ink cartridge really, but I do like the genuine item and not a cheap refill. These cartridges are very well priced.

I only buy HP cartridges as I have used different makes in the past but I don't find them to be as good quality. These do what they are supposed to do and last pretty well.

After buying unbranded, but guaranteed ink cartridges for my HP printer, only to find they were rejected. I had to go for genuine ones & these are perfect, good price too.

Like all cartridges , getting quite expensive now. does not seem to last very long (I know it's a only a 5 ml ) but I don't print much. Deliver was quite swift .
