I picked one of these up for £30 when I just happened to see one in the shop, the price tag said it was reduced from £130 and when I felt the weight of it, it was obvious that there must be a lot of technology packed into this little fella, so I had to get it. I must say it's a lot of fun, even though I've only had it for a day. There's a lot you can do with the app like send it on missions which start off ridiculously easy but get longer and harder and unlock more features as you progress through the missions. It looks really good as well, everything is in the right place and all the proportions and lights and sounds are correct. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's too loud.

I am a Star Wars fan, so this little R2-D2 is a wonderful replica. However, once you've downloaded the Ap that works it, there is no mention whatsoever of how to turn it off! I had him gurgling and beeping around my living room for what seemed like hours! Help, how do you turn him off?

Item hasn't been taken out of it's box yet as it's a Christmas present, but it looks lovely. I'm sure our Grandson will love it. It was well packed and arrived quickly. After seeing it I ordered another, although second one was more expensive I still think it's a good buy.

The last time I had an R2D2 was in 1978. I was a six inch model which I made myself from a kit. This takes me back so many years. I feel like a big kid and lovin' every minute of it. Sturdy and heavy item and really easy to control and set up with the app.

Great gadget although bit hard to work out how to control via app on iPad, no instructions and online instructions only say wat each mode does, does t tell u which mode to use to work with iPad!

Love this. Bit fiddly to get the app connected to my Google Nexus, but that turned out to be a bluetooth issue on the phone. Worth the persistence when I got it working. My kids love it.

Great quality and value for money. Bought this for my grandson for Xmas so can't give full account yet but all reviews were excellent so will update at a later date

made a little boy very happy, he had missed his first holy communion and his god father sent it to him. big surprise and so very cool

Brilliant toy but had to return as too sophisticated for my small grandson bought the interactive one instead
