First impressions of this cable were very good, it arrived in a simple plastic bag and first removed has a nice feel to it. The braided cable was the main reason that I bought this cable, and after I'd connected it to my blu-ray player it looked very smart.After about a month though the connection between my blu-ray player and TV began to drop out at intervals and after a bit of investigation it was clear the cable was the cause. I replaced the cable with another and after inspecting the fault one could see that casing around the gold connection had become loose.Aesthetically the cable is excellent, it looks smart and the cable braiding is undoubtedly its best feature,
