I purchased this 7.5m HDMI cable to connect my PC to my 47inch 3D LG tv so I could watch films and music videos on my large screen intead of on my smaller 20inch monitors. I needed the 7.5m length because my PC is situated on the opposite side of my room to where my tv is.After setting the correct screen resolution in my PC in the 'Control Panel' I then restarted my PC and everything was fine.I have no problems with the length of the cable, I read a few reviews that longer cables sometimes don't work, but I had no problems with this cable. This is the latest spec cable, you should check the specs of the HDMI before buying, this cable has all the latest tech that you could need I think, having 3D support - ethernet 1.4a - audio return - gold connectors etc etc and the cable is nice and thick, its basic in style with just a touch of blue colour with the KableDirect logo on the connectors. If you feel the need to buy a better looking cable then that is up to you, but be prepared to pay a lot more money!!, I realised that these cables that are more expensive because they have more asthetic appeal are OK if you can afford them but other than that you can't really notice the cable once connected up!!, the connectors will always be hidden round the back of your device and the cable will usually be hidden out of the way also!!.I bought this particular cable because although it didn't have many reviews yet - all the reviews it does have are good, the reason I think it doesn't have many reviews is due to it being a newer cable out with the latest specs/features.You will always get the odd review on most cables saying that it didn't work!!, and then they blame it on the length if it was a longer cable or ok it could be possible to get a faulty cable but I think its more likey down to the person not setting it up incorrectly. So I would fully recommend this cable for the price it is, as for the picture/sound quality I haven't noticed any problems at all, it works great as it should do.

Obligatory "got this free to test" disclaimer. The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the packaging was how bulky this felt. The cable itself was strong, as were the connectors, and the junction between the two was well protected and strong. This felt like a high end quality product right from the outset. I immediately plugged it into a few appliances and played around with it. The signal loss in both video and audio quality is negligible. I wouldn't hesitate to put this on the same plane as the "audiophile" cables that are available as far as sound is concerned. The only issues I have is that due to the strong construction, it was quite difficult to maneuver and bend this cable round the various corners from,.for example my bluray player and the TV, resulting in a slightly "messy" installation, hence the 4 star review. If a version of this cable were to be made with a side facing connector I would jump on it STRAIGHT away.Fantastic cable, I will definitely be replacing my "hidden" cables with these. If this cable were slightly more flexible, or were to have a side facing connector, I would replace my entire collection with these, but that would be likely to be at the detriment of the quality.

I’m reviewing the 0.25m version of this cable, the shortest one available and ideal for the very short stretch from our Raspberry Pi to the back of our telly. We didn’t need any extra cable dangling around and getting in the way, so length-wise this is ideal for us. When you do your measurements though, make sure to take into account that this is a fairly inflexible cable because it’s so thick and ruggedly built. It’s very firm and not inclined to bend around tight corners sharply. For a cable where reliability and durability are clearly the intention, rather than width or style, this ticks all the boxes. It’s a very simple, somewhat plain cable apart from the blue flourishes at the ends (which, with longer cables, would be handy for identifying which cable is which, but on the 0.25m cable it’s not really something you’re going to get confused about.)It carried a HD & 3D signal from my Blu-ray player- I can’t do any 4K testing as I don’t have the equipment- exactly as I would expect and it didn’t fail to carry any signal I wanted to put through it.With fairly minimal packaging (just a bag) and very little fuss, it’s hard to see how this cable could function any better.

(I received this product as a free gift in exchange for an unbiased honest review of the product.)The cable was well packaged and arrived ahead of time and was not damaged in anyway.I used the cable to connect my Virgin V+ Box to my TV and having used cheaper HDMI cables before which I though produced good quality viewing I did not expect to see any difference from the KabelDirekt cable and thought that it was hype about nothing. I was very wrong, after changing the cables I found that the KabelDirekt HDMI cable improved the quality of the picture, making everything brighter and bolder and sound and all other aspects also where improved so much so that the days of me buying cheap HDMI cables have now gone.I also use the cable to connect my Galaxy Note 4 to my LED TV and again much better performance and no fiddling with the cable to make it work. I am overall really impressed with this product, it is made well and designed so that it will withstand more stress than cheaper versions I definitely recommend this product and will buy further HDMI cables and others from KabelDirekt.

This 25cm HDMI cable is shorter than I was expecting - and when you're playing around with cables this short that can make all the difference! It is exactly 258mm long from the very tip of one of the gold HDMI plugs to the other. But each plug including the strain relief where it joins the cable is 54mm long. This means the cable itself is a tiny bit over 150mm long, which in old money is 6 inches.Only you can be certain whether a six inch cable is going to be long enough to get from your source to your screen. On my desk it wasn't even long enough to get the signal from my laptop to the adjacent screen - unfortunately the output on my laptop is on the left edge and the input on my monitor isjust a bit too far away for the cable to reach. On the plus side the construction quality of this cable is really excellent - sturdy moulded plastic plugs with strain relief, firmly fitted to the gold coloured HDMI connectors. The cable is nice and thick which means it looks neat.Just so long as it reaches, because this is the shortest HDMI lead I have ever encountered.

Long and the short of it (not much pun intended) these cables are very good. Available in a range of sizes from 0.25M to 20M - and all at reasonable prices (just visit a few high street retailers to compare costs...) the cable appears well made and to be of good quality. The combination of length options at reasonable prices really does allow sensible cable lengths to be used rather than having lots of spare hanging around.I used it to connect a Freesat DVR to a AV receiver. Something I could not get working three years ago when both were purchased. Previously any volume change on the receiver caused picture flicker and distortion. At the time I suspected it might be a cable problem and tried a quite a few different options. However - this cable cracked the problem. Flicker free picture whatever I do with the volume. The downside - the family are not going to be thrilled - another change! Instead of TV on HDMI2, receiver on AV1 it's now TV on HDMI1 and receiver on HDMI2. Simples!

These KabelDirekt HDMI cables are a really decent quality cable for the price with a solidly-made feel. The flex itself is quite thick but it's also reasonably flexible and doesn't hold kinks or stay coiled up after you unpack it, so you should cope with most TV units and installations. The HDMI connectors on either end are well bonded to the cable and securely moulded - they do seem quite chunky, although presumably they're within the HDMI specification, but if your TV or STB has tight access to the HDMI ports this cable might be a squeeze.Everything seems to work the way it should and the cable seems up-to-date with the latest additions to the HDMI spec'.I've had problems in the past with cheap low-quality HDMI cables that come bundled with devices, they often don't work with the latest gear, so getting something this reliable and well-made at such a reasonable price has to be a worthwhile investment. Result.

If you go to a high street electrical retailer they will attempt to sell you HDMI cables at extortionate prices, promising perfect signals for your high priced TV/BluRay equipment. They'll put you off cheaper cables, suggesting that you need gold plated connectors etc.The truth is you don't need to pay much.Sure, a dirt cheap cable may introduce losses into the signal when compared to ultra high expensive cables with gold plated connectors, and that difference may be noticeable if we were passing analogue signals through (like the coax cables of old), but we live in a digial age where cable loss is easily recovered by the magic of digital error checking and correction routines. The result is crystal clear audio/video no matter how cheap the cable you buy. You only need to worry about the construction as you don't want the connector to fall off after a couple of months use, and this one is robust enough.

TIP===There are quite a few types of this type of cable. I've had problems when they've come from a marketplace seller. If it's from Amazon you're all right.HQ===This is a very high quality cable. It looks nice and works without any problems.WELL MADE===========The cable, for me, is less prone to tangling as it has thicker rubber/plastic material.OVERALL========Looks prettier than some and it works wellHQ===This is a very high quality cable. It looks nice and works without any problems.HDMI to HDMI============I've used it regularly over the last month or so and it works perfectly.LOOKS======Looks really nice and better than most cables.PROBLEMS==========Some cables are prone to being faulty,or are not that well made. This is at the other end of the spectrum. They're faultless. Look nice and work without any issues.

There is not much to say, other than this brand has become my favourite and go to brand! The cables come very simply packaged and work flawlessly. They feel and appear very very well made, all connections are sturdy and the cables are substantially thick. The connections have an appealing black chrome appearance, although this is likely just plastic! Nonetheless, the cables feel very refined.I know there are cheaper cables on the market that will work equally well, but its always nice to have a little of style, especially when your cables are on display! It also worth noting that with this brand, each step up in distance only costs a little more, so if in doubt, don't be anxious to buy a bigger cable for a couple pence more!Have bought virtually every type of cable from Kabeldirekt recently and can definitely recommend them!

I purchased four of these cables, three 1M and one 2M. They look stylish, not that you usually see them behind your audio/video equipment, and feel very sturdy. Great value for money, I certainly don't see any reason to pay more. They arrived in easy to open plastic bags rather than those hard plastic packages you get in shops that require the use of a sharp knife to break into. Both ends of each cable was protected with a plastic cap.The sound and picture quality is faultless. They're also Ethernet compatible, but I can't comment how well they cope with this as my equipment doesn't use this feature.Next time I need to buy a cable I will certainly look to see if KabelDirekt has it in it's range.(UPDATE: needed an additional HDMI cable, and I did indeed come back to KabelDirekt for it.)

Iv read some of the reviews and most of people are happy with this cable so I thought I would give it a go. I can tell you the cable is just as good as my IXOS-XHT458-500 I paid £60 for and my GIOTECK HDMI01-XC3-HQ that I paid £20 for notest the price going down and now this one at £5.99. I now know you do not need to pay alot of money for an HDMI cable as iv found out because I cannot tell the difference in picture quality or sound on all three of my cables so I wont be paying silly prices anymore. The only thing that's wrong is the white writing on the cable around the head is on the wrong side because when you plug it in you dont see the writing because its at the bottom and not facing up,Silly I know but I would of liked to see the writing otherwise why put it on in the first place.

The KabelDirekt 1.5m HDMI Cable is a low cost HDMI cable that suitable for use with most modern TVs, DVD and Blu Ray players etc.The cable arrives in a sealed up clear plastic bag without any branding other than on the complimentary quality control leaflet inside. The cable also comes with the golden contacts (note not actual gold-plated ones like the higher end cables) protected with plastic shields. The cable itself is a good thickness, with plenty of flexibility and play in it. The connector ends feel strong and sturdy and able to withstand a fair few accidental tugs or knocks. The picture quality from Blu Ray to TV with this lead is excellent. All in all I can’t really fault the cable. It’s a good price but seems to be really quite well made.

Reasonably priced HDMI cable with an extra bit of build quality over the standard £1 ones available. It feels like it could take some punishment.Drawbacks are that each end is quite bulky which has meant I can't use it in some devices. For example a popular setup on an old Xbox that allows users with expensive Live integrated headsets (Turtle Beach, Tritton, etc) by stripping the standard cable of it's outer casing to allow both a HDMI cable for video and utilise the optical out from the standard cable at the same time which would go to your headset wireless receiver. This set up works with many cheaper cables but the bulk of this cable makes it impossible. However this is a fairly niche use.So overall 4.

Standards have moved on with HDMI cables yet I was still using older cables partly because I last bought an HDMI cable it was £20+ - i.e. not a throw away purchase. What really bugged me about my older cables is that I had bought long ones in (to cover all eventualities) -in terms of location of TV versus peripherals. These cables are supplied in numerous lengths from 0.5m up - 10 m which means I have been able to buy the exact right length and not had to coil up an extra metre of cable behind the TV.These cables are perfect me and quality of connection was excellent. ARC worked well. Idont have a 4K tv so am unable to comment on that but can recommend this cable and do not be put off by thelow price.
