It's amazing that it works at all, and it's really neat to see it work. However, it has a bunch of issues.One is that the attached lens is not well supported. Ignore the claims for maximum lens weight - it's really only ok with very small, light lenses. Anything over 200 grams is going to be hanging at an angle when focused close up. You kind of need to hold the lens up anyway. Any pressure moves the lens around.It hits focus pretty well in a lot of situations, but not reliably enough to shoot blind and trust it like you often can with a native autofocus lens, and when it's off it'll be just wrong enough to be annoying, but not enough to be immediately obvious from the camera preview so you can reshoot.It's also a knockoff of Techart's product,

This is clearly a knock off of the Techart adapter. I have compared bother adapters and I actually prefer this adapter to the Techart. It hasslightly better build quality, visually looks better and most importantly has a less whiny focus motor. I was also able to easilyupdate the firmware to the latest version using the Techart android app, which slightly improved the auto-focus. I primarily use thisfor a Voigtlander Nokton 40 1.2 on a A7RII and it works like a charm. I'm knocking off 1 star because the AF while adequate is certainly not fast enough for anything other than slow or stationary objects; that said, the AF is quite accurate.

the Fotodiox Pro adapter works fine on all or most of my old vintage Leica and Zeiss lenses. The adapter is much slower than the Sony FE native lenses for the a7iii, but it works. In low light or low contrast objects it hunts a lot. great in good lighting situations. A very good deal if your not shooting sports or any other fast moving objects at night or day/

My favourite gadget of the year - Fotodiox Pro PRONTO Adapter. I use it with my Sony Alpha A7R III. This adapter lets me AUTOFOCUS legacy SLR lenses! (In this case, the Konica Hexanon AR 40/1.8 lens from 1979).

It's a very simple technology that works very well. I found it was not great at minimum focus in auto mode but other than that I'd recommend this adaptor for anyone who loves Leica glass and Sony cameras.

Works very well with Reica R 35-70 and I tested the adapter with FD & FL lenses using FD to LM adapter and realized that Fotodiox Pro Pront works perfectly with FD/FL lenses .

You can have the best of both worlds. Leica lens quality and special Boka with all the goods that Sony alpha 7 camera’s offer. Love this product

Works well on sony a7 II.My hat is off to the Chinese engineering team that made impossible possible by turning MF lenses into AF! Fantastic!
