Pros: Allows use of Canon EF lenses on Sony E mount. I use it with the A6500. When I first got it was glitchy, then I updated the software and now it works good enough for photos and video with a Canon 85mm 1.8(old lens). I don't use video often, so I can't really say how well it works just that it does. I say well enough because nothing works as good as native lenses. I use it for portraits and static subjects with no issues.Bought renewed at a deep discount.Cons: received without tripod foot, almost returned it but wasn't worth the hassle due to deep discount.

I bought this one whim on Prime Day hoping it would work and so far so good. I have so far tested it with a Canon 50mm 1.4 and a Canon 70-300 IS. Both autofocus and in the case of the zoom, it reads back the focal length on screen. Image stabilization seems to work too. Tested on a Sony a7riiBuild quality is fine. The locking pin thumb slide on the Canon side is perhaps lacking in the precision machining department and anodized orange, but otherwise build quality seems fine. The cast tripod adapter feels hefty enough to support reasonably big lenses.

On my Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM no aperture control (only works on 2.8) but the focus peaking works. Using an ND Filter always.On my Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM everything works.In my 15mm 2.8 (a bit old) autofocus works, although a little slow and the aperture also works.The construction is strong, totally in aluminum and you can update the firmware.I would buy this brand again!
