The Fire Truck comes with two little people but I'm slightly disappointed they both are male as it would have been nice to have had a male and female figure.The figures themselves are nice and chunky and perfect for little hands and when one of them is sat in the drivers seat and pushed down it prompts voice, music and sound effects from the fire truck along with the red lights on the top.There is also another seat area at the back of the fire truck which turns the water hose on the roof and when the little person is turned on it this then prompts different songs, voice and fire truck noises. The back hose seat also prompts the fire truck lights and so there are two interactive points on the truck.The truck also has a spinner on the top of it but this does not prompt any noises or lights.

This Little People fire engine from Fisher Price ticks all the boxes - and at only £16 would make an ideal Christmas present for any toddler. It will be one that lasts and lasts, as have all the FP toys our children and grandchildren have enjoyed over the years.The fire engine is a good size for little hands to push along, at 18cm high and 28cm in length. It comes with 2 chunky firefighter figures, one male and one female. Sounds, lights and phrases (in English accents) are activated by putting a firefighter in the driver's seat or the back turntable, by turning the water cannon, or by pushing the truck along.

My almost 2 year old toddler was drawn to this straight away and has been really enjoying it. It’s easy for her to operate by herself, putting the 2 play people in and out and activating the sounds.There’s a fire hose to move around on top and a ladder that can attach and detach from the sides. 2 play people - seem like 1 male and 1 female fire fighter, and lots of catchy songs and phrases to help fuel imaginary play on the fire fighter topic (talks about helping others, fighting fires, rescuing cats from trees and so on, and phrases between the fire fighters like pass the hose etc) and the sound quality is clear and easy to understand.Batteries already included no assembly required.

This is a good, chunky little fire engine that's great just as a simple push toy, but also has appealing lights and sounds including fire engine noises (a horn and siren), singing, and talking. The speech elements have British English rather than American English accents. Batteries are included, but these are demonstration batteries and have depleted to some extent on arrival.The Little People are a nice size for small hands progressing from gross to fine motor control movements, and the two included characters (one male, one female) have printed Fire Service uniforms that include lots of equipment elements to satisfy the interest of dedicated young firefighter fans.

This is a lovely, chunky and well made Fire Engine, which comes with two fire-fighters – one male and one female. Pushing the truck along, or moving parts - such as the water hose - triggers moving lights, sound effects and short bursts of songs. This makes it very interactive, prompting toddlers to play with it. The voices all have English accents; I mention this as I know some people prefer this to the more usual, American accents in so many toys.This is perfect for little ones, and is suitable for very young toddlers, all the way up to about Reception age. A lovely bright red fire truck with two little people to sit inside and a removable ladder - this is brilliant fun for toddlers from 1-5 years (although think more like 1-4) with something to wheel around and some wholesome voices and jolly tunes when knobs are pressed. Messages such as "Our goal is to make sure everyone is safe and sound" and "working together, we can save the day" are delivered by both male and female in English.Voices are activated in a couple of ways, both easy for small hands to press and it's just a sturdy, jolly toy you'd expect from Fisher Price. This range of toys (Little People) encourages "kindness, caring and helping others" and I'd go along with this ethos.

Its bold and colourful, the sound effects and voices are clear bringing playtime to life and the scale and movement of individual parts is perfect for little fingers.The fire truck comes with two figures (male and female) and a detachable ladder. The figures can be placed in the drivers seat or at the rear, with a press or a turn they then activate the sound effects and flashing lights.My mum has still got some of my old fisher price toys in the shed so I’m confident that this is robust enough to last the test of toddlers and time.At this price point I’m certainly not disapointed, I think its good value and great for little ones.Lastly – 2 x AA batteries are provided so you are good to go out

as my 2 year old grandson says!Review by his mother, my eldest daughter - my youngest would have loved this tooThis was bought for my two year old.I liked the simple design of this and the characters, particularly that one was female and one male.To appeal to older children more there could been some doors that opened or more details like a hose that they could play with.There doesn’t appear to be an off button which can come in handy at times!My little boy likes the musical element of this.It’s very sturdy and I imagine would take quite a lot to break it which is what you want with a toddler playing with it.I may add - a reliable, trustworthy maker,

Great value item priced at £15.99 as at 13th December 2018.Nicely sized, my 2 year old great nephew is having a lot of fun with this item, he particularly likes the interactive voices which are helping him with his speech development. The voices are activated either through pushing a button or inserting one of the firefighter into two positions: driving and operating the hose.We liked the range of voices, sounds and particularly the songs, which are quite catchy; already my nephew is trying to sing along. I think that the size of the item and removable parts ensure that the toy is safe. It comes supplied with 2AA batteries,

My 2 year old loves this toy!- Same level of quality as other Fisher Price toys, this will survive a lot of bashing, it's solidly built- Quite large; has 2x firefighter figures that are removable- If you put a firefighter in the seat at the front or back then it triggers sound and lights- A big plus point is that the songs are in English (British) accents and not the usual American accents.This is a great toy, I would say good for most children under 5 years old. The firefighter figures help motor skills and of course fire engines are really cool!

This lovely toy comes complete with songs, noises, and flashing lights to delight youngsters. The two fire fighter figures – one male, one female – are perfectly sized for little hands to place, either in the cab or at the back of the vehicle, to activate the sounds and lights. Most little ones like fire engines, and the cheerful songs and chants about helping others, together with buttons to press and a water canon to spin, makes for a fun toy.It is a typical Fisher-Price toy - colourful, robust, and safe – probably best suited to the under 3s.

This a brilliant toy that will be adored by all toddlers and is sturdy enough to last being played for years. It is a good size for them to manage to handle on their own and the people are also a good size for little hands and well shaped to enable them to play as independently as possible. This has both flashing lights and noises so will be a massive hit with all toddlers. Brilliant, especially for the current price of 15.99. There are many other toys in this range that could be added to this but would also be fine to be played with alone.

Importantly, the little one loves it. Absolutely loves it. It's a chunky fire engine with two figures and everything robust and well made as you'd expect from an established brand like this. Pushing one of those figures down on the driving seat triggers sounds, songs and lights. Turning the other figure on the back of the truck makes the hose spin around and sets lights flashing. As with all these plastic fantastic toys, the sounds are bound to grate on the parent's ears eventually but as long as the little darlings are happy, eh?

I am delighted with this sturdy truck and our 2 year old granddaughter and friends’ toddlers just love it. She is just learning about ‘helping’ and this reinforces the concept as well as being fun to play with. We have usually had good play value from Fisher-Price toys over the years and this one looks set to continue that. The two figures that come with the set are an ideal size, the whole thing looks and feels good quality and the item co-ordinates with other toys in the same range or can be used as a stand-alone toy.
