This is a quality plane set. It is part of the Little People range and comes with two figures (pilot Kurt and passenger Emma). The toy has press-able buttons which make noises. Where the pilot sits if you press the seat down it says a number of phrases:* Ding. Preparing for take-off. Buckle up (buckling up sound)* Aeroplane whooshing sound* Ding. Please enjoy some snacks while we fly. Thank you.* Another aeroplane whooshing sound.* Music jingle.* Another aeroplane whoosh followed by the sound of tyres screeching on the runway.* Ding. Thank you for flying Little People Airlines. There is even a song:"Travelling with you is a great adventureWe'll land in a place fun and newWe'll go up high above the clouds,Look out your window, what a view."There is a second button on top of the aeroplane with different phrases:* (Whoosh, screeching tyres.) This has been a wonderful flight* My bags are packed. I'm all ready for my trip.* Song: "Boy oh Boy it's time to flyI'm feeling oh so excited,We'll travel fast and far and highTogether through the sky."* I'm buckled in my seat and my bag is put away. It's time to fly.* Up we go. Whoosh.* Wow, I'm so glad we're on this adventure together.* Whoosh.* Calypso music jingle. These buttons work straight away because the toy comes with batteries, which isn't always the case so you have to give credit for this. Plus the buttons can easily be pressed by little hands. As well as the buttons the plane is chunky and easy to hold. It feels sturdy so should survive being dropped from toddler height. The plane has a smiley face making this a happy toy. It has a door that opens and spinner barber-shop style parts on the engines of the wings to spin. It also has three seats for figures to sit on, one of which is the aforementioned pilot seat. There are two figures in the set and these can connect to the seats securely and easily. There is also a suit case for the passenger to take on board. If I were to be negative it would be the stickers. The stickers on the spinny engines weren't put on too well on my one and could be picked off with determined fingers. There is also a Fisher Price logo sticker on the plane top which could be removed. But these don't really detract from what is an excellent toy.

We had the older version of this Little People Airplane which had a song and some plane noises but didn't have as many sounds as this newer version has which is definitely improved. The plane comes with two little people; the boy pilot and the girl passenger however my Daughter has quite happily had the little girl flying the plane with the boy as a passenger for most of her play with the plane. The figures themselves are nice and chunky and perfect for little hands and when one of them is sat in the pilot seat and pushed down it prompts voice, music and plane noises along with the lights at the front of the plane. There is also a red button on the middle of the plane which when pushed prompts different songs, voice and plane noises again with the lights at the front of the plane. Between the two button areas there is a large amount of songs and sound effects and a lot more than the older version had.The plane has spinners on each wing but these do not prompt any noises or lights and it also comes with a suitcase to pack on board. There is a side door that opens but most of the play can be done from the open roof. The plane of course does move when pushed.A fantastic toy for younger children from around the age of 1 year old to maybe 3 as I feel the 5 year old upper level is perhaps a bit too old for this toy. Plenty of play value, bright colours, noises and sounds to keep your little one entertained.

The Travel Together Plane from Fisher Price is quite a simple toy with really just the one button to press plus the pilot place while there are 2 spaces for the passengers these don’t make noises when pressed - 1 pilot and 1 passenger are provided. There are lots of different sounds, little sentences and songs which are really quite upbeat and I like how clear the character voices are. They do need to be quite precise with the way the characters are placed in the plane but my 1 year old soon got the hang of it. Thankfully when it does arrive it already has batteries (you can try it in the box) and there’s not much assembly required – just the left wing and the back wheels to be slotted in.The door opens and there are lights on the face of the plane which light up in time to the voices/songs. I think it’s a good introduction for them if planning a trip or if they’ve already been on a plane they’ll understand how it works. This set is all about friendship ‘I’m so glad we’re on this adventure together’ (says the girl to the pilot). It would have been great if the box could have been unfolded and used as a background scene with the runway but you need to rip the bag from the back. It’s a good size and the characters can be combined with some of the other sets. Overall we really quite like it. It’s light enough too for him to have it flying through the sky although he’s not quite got the hang of that yet.

This is a well thought out, good quality toy from Fisher-Price. It is ideal for toddlers, the people are a sensible, safe size and there is plenty to capture the attention of both boys and girls. The button for the speech is clear and easy to press, a friend’s one year old managed it very quickly and loved it, his 4 year old sister was also happy to play with it, taking the plane to ‘visit granny in Spain’.The plane co-ordinates with other Little People toys so the people can be mixed and matched, and there could be a whole community built up using these toys. The plastic is quite sturdy and although it would be good to have less toys made of plastic, these toys are able to be used for a long period, passed down to younger children among friends and family, etc. so they are not as environmentally damaging as cheaper, less well made toys.We still have a Fisher-Price garage bought over 20 years ago for our grandson, and it is still being used now for his 2 year old cousin and although the lift doesn’t work properly any more, everything else is fine and she enjoys playing with it.

Fisher-Price Little People Travel Together Airplane Activity Toy is an excellent made, quality toy.It comes with two figures, a boy pilot and a girl passenger. These are a great size for little hands. Chunky, good quality and they can take a bit of a bashing with no issues. The planes does need some small assembly when it comes out of all the packaging, The left wing and back wheels to be precise. This is easily done and honestly if I can do it, anyone can lol. There are an array of sounds and music that the plane makes. When you push the pilot figure into the seat it activates voice, music and plane noises. The big red button does the same thing too. This is a fun fun toy for little ones to have.Itisn’t so much fun for the parents because it’s noisy and on a couple of occasions the batteries may have stopped “working” *cough* disappeared from toy itself. At £19.97 this toy is pretty much a bargain. Young children will absolutely love this and it does give hours of fun and gets their imagination working.Another winner from Fisher-Price in my opinion.

Love this quality Fisher Price Toy. It's part of their "Little People" range and this one explores Friendship ("sharing experiences with friends" and "being kind" - can't argue with those sentiments. It does this with a big chunky plane and pilot (Kurt - male) and a blond haired (Emma - female) passenger. There's also a very flat brown thing, that doesn't look like the chunky suitcase, pictured on the box but could well be Emma's tray for when she needs to serve the in-flight snacks to Kurt. Oh well, you can't have everything and it is only 2018, women haven't been flying for that long.....Apart from the "why is the pilot a male" problem, your kids will love this, the spinning turbines are activated by hand so the batteries just provide the jolly tunes, flight sound effects and comments like "I'm buckled in my seat and my bag is put away, it's time to fly", "up we go" and "wow, I'm so glad we are on this adventure together" and of course, the obligatory "thank you for flying Little People Airlines" (Pilot Kurt of course), all delivered in English.

Another well made toy from Fisher Price/Mattel in their Little People series, good lasting value at £20. The plane needs a quick bit of easy assembly before use (wings and wheels.) It comes with a pilot figure of colour, and a girl passenger, plus one suitcase (non opening). The aircraft door opens and there is a pull down set of steps, and the wings each have a "barber pole" striped barrel that spins round and round. Songs, music, phrases and lights are activated by pushing the red top button and by putting the pilot in his seat. They are short and varied.Instructions and phrases like "Time to Buckle up", " thank you for flying little People Airline" reflect real life experiences and are in English accents (apart from some of the songs which are much more American sounding). As there is room for 2 passengers in the plane it is a pity this set only comes with one, though other playpeople from this series of products will be compatible.

My family are a bit aeroplane obsessed - my youngest grandson (aged 2) is no exception, daddy is an airport manager and uncle is a pilot so you can understand the fascination. With the help of my little helper we tested this Fisher-Price plane with the delightful Kurt and Emma. We liked how easy it was to access the interior, place the figures and the general sturdiness of all the components. I didn’t even mind the noices and electronic voices (which can often irritate adults). I would suggest that this toy plane is suited for very young children from 8 months up to about 3 years old.Fisher-Price do put thought in to supporting development and this toy is no exception.I would suggest that this toy supports fine motor, gross motor, communication and problem solving skills. This toy plane would make a welcome gift for tiny children.

Bigger and more substantial than I expected, this is a terrific playset that is going to see a lot of action. The sound effects button has a bunch of phrases and sound effects, and the pilot's place is also wired for sound so that you can push him down to get cockpit announcements and whooshing sounds. There are two figures but three 'seats', one for the pilot and two for passengers, so you'll need to co-opt someone from another set.Pleasingly it has batteries included - 2xAA - so that you don't have to raid to TV remote to get it going. But, WARNING: the main sound effects is very easy to press accidentally - be extra careful how you wrap it.Excellent value at the current £20,and being Fisher Price it will probably be almost indestructible. Five stars.

What fun! Seeing this brought back so many childhood memories...this is a great toy for little people, and I think it would be particularly helpful for parents trying to explain the concept of getting on a plane and being good to their children. It's quite a large item, which makes it perfect for little hands to explore and play. The two characters can be placed in various places on the plane, and there's buttons to press that utter catchphrases and sing songs, plus flashing lights. It is certainly a toy that will keep the tots entertained for hours. Every grown up friend who has seen it has also wanted to play with it!If you are intending to gift this,it will bring a smile to the faces of both child and adult alike.A really super product.

I thought this would be smaller than it is but that's my fault for not reading the description properly. The little people are perfect for little hands although I do think the suitcase could be more square as it's too easy to slip into the mouth and could be swallowed as it's quite flat (I bought it for my 18-month-old son). The big red button on the top is the perfect size for my son to push and hear the songs and dialogue. There is also a button inside the plane when you place the pilot in his seat which also makes sound. Other small toys can also fit inside the plane so all his figures can go for a ride. It would be even better if there were lights somewhere on the plane.

This a lovely durable toy for toddlers, as you would expect from a manufacturer of Fisher-Price pedigree, it is a very well made and safe construction. The aeroplane itself is of a tactile design encouraging handling and exploration by little hands. It has a big button on top of the plane, that when depressed produces songs and sounds. This toy also comes with two figures a pilot and passenger. When the pilot is pressed into his seat, additional sounds and songs are played along with lights. This is a great toy for toddlers and will be enjoyed for years and could very well last that long.

Fisher-Price 887961544824 Little People Travel Together Airplane Activity Toy is another great toy made by Fisher-Price which is perfect for small hands and active minds. I got this thinking the youngest of the family who is nearly one year old would have the most fun playing with it, happy to report the three-year-old girl loves it as much and both children enjoy making up their own fun especially with the excellent and fun sounds which they love to hear and the buttons are big and bright perfect for little hands.A great toy which I am happy to recommend.

A great toy for anyone with a toddler that loves to play with vehicles. There is a good amount of functionality and features to keep a toddler interested without being overly intricate or breakable, although I am not sure how robust it would be if dropped a couple of times on a hard floor. Our toddler is 2 years old and based on the types of toys he has played with over the last year or so, I think he is about the right age now for this one, it may not have been quite suitable six months to a year ago.Reasonable at the price.

This is a well made toy and very much in the mould of fisher price. This brand has made toys that my children play with that I did 30 years ago. Rugged and tough yet enjoyable and entertaining. This plane has a pilot seat that when pressed makes phrases like ‘fasten your seat belts’. The plane has another button that when pressed has various phrases and songs that play in a cycle. The joy in my child’s face when playing with this is all I need to recommend it. It’s great!
