Bllod Sports is the second iteration of Fallen Earth. When you install it be preapred for some big downloading to catch up with the latest changes and patches.This is an MMO which breaks you in gently to the playing style with various early missions to help you understand the game dynamics. It is not a game which you can solo in th elater stages, it is best to join a clan to help you get to where you want to go with the game.At the time of writing this you can use a maximum of 25 Action Points (AP) per level to a maximum of 1250 when you reach level 50 which for now is the top level. Don't expect to be able to buy anything from the merchants or trainers initially.You will ned to scavenge as much as you can and either make stuff with it to sell on or just sell on the raw materials.The game is based around Factions which are not relevant to Sector 1 since you are still finding out how to survive. There are currently 6 factions - CHOTA, Enforcers, Lightbearers, Techs, Travelers and Vistas.The various factions skills are still quite open since the game is constantly evloving and growing. The developers are not sitting back and saying that's it. In Secgtor 2 and Sector 3 (Sector 4 is currently under development) there are towns whicha re PvP areas where you can pick up some good AP. However this si we=here you need to be careful because the towns wil be owned by a faction which changes depending on other players activity. So if you've done lots of Tech work don't expect to walk into one of these areas if it is Vista controlled.Once you enter Sector 2 how you play the missions impacts on your standing with the factions. Currently it is possible to "spin the wheel" by starting with one faction town then moving to the next faction along and doing that town. Be warned this play style may soon be on the way out if the gossip on the forum is to be believed.PvP is through four methods1. Flagging yourself up for PvP2. Joining Deathmatch3. Joining Blood Sports4. PvP towns with Faction control.It takes a lot of work to get to the higher levels and know the game as well. Some join rush the levels by leaning a lot on forum information and then burn out when they realise they have no knowledge of the game dynamics and flounder on simple aspects.This has become the game for me. I am fed up with having what are supposed to be stand alone games but needing a net connection to play them. I am a Fall Out fan but I think by the time that MMO version finally sees daylight this game will be well entrenched.Fallen Earth is heavily marketed in the US and Canada. When it first came ot there was some marketing in ther UK but not much. Now the game has settled down and a lot of the bugs have been ironed out the developers are now focussing more on improved content and gameplay. There is a lot to this game it is big, cahllenging and lots of fun.Play the game for free for the first month and then register your key for the next month. After 2 months you will know if this is the game for you.Oh.... ETSU rocks :-)
