We bought this for my elderly mum-in-law who is now suffering severely with dementia but who really loved this fragrance many years ago. She's in residential care and the staff agreed to give her a dab or two each day. I have to admit that I never knew it was her scent of choice, but realised immediately that it was familiar when we helped her put some on.It's not quite in the realm of the old classics such as Chanel No.5, in my opinion, but even identical perfumes work differently on different skin types, and No.5 happens to suit my wife particularly well. Blue Grass does the same thing for my dear mum-in-law, it sits just right with her and feels very familiar.

The same lovely fragrance that used to be available from high street shops in my younger days. Thought I'd never find it again, but here it is on Amazon. A refreshing fragrance of spring flowers and grass; subtle but longer lasting than most inexpensive eau de parfums. My Chanel No 5 is only for special occasions these days, but Blue Grass is ideal for daily wear - good price too. Goes on quite strong, but softens after a few minutes, which distinguishes it from the cheap sprays in the shops these days. Would make a great gift for a 'mature' but discerning lady.

This EDP 100ml bottle of Elizabeth Arden Blue Grass is my long-time favourite perfume for any occasion. Blue Grass has light floral tones with earthy woodland fragrances which smell of the clean, fresh countryside. The fragrance lasts a long time after a quick spritz and it never overpowers everyone in the room. A 100ml bottle of EDP is reasonably priced and lasts for a long time because it keeps its freshness and doesn't smell 'stale.' If you want to smell gorgeous THIS is the one perfume you should buy. Then wait for the compliments to pour in.

On requiring a change of perfume, my thoughts returned to days of my former years. With my first week's pay packet, I purchased Elizabeth Arden's Blue Grass - Eau de Toilette - as I couldn't afford the Perfume. So I decided that what was good enough for me then, - is good enough for me now and consequently I ordered from my faithful friend "Amazon" and was not disappointed when my parcel arrived within a few days. I have used Blue Grass for many years since my brother in law purchased me a gift set for Christmas in mistake for Blue Midnight by Droothy Gray. I am sure that the people who do not like it are unfortunate to have the type of skin which sets up its own perfume. I know my sister used to use Helena Rubenstein Apple Blossom Hand Cream but on me it smelt like a tom cat. Each to their own. I will continue to use this and receive the comments from friends who like it.

Not smelled this in 33 years and is exactly how i remembered it. I used to pinch it off my mum when i met my first boyfriend at 15. When this came all the memories came back. Funny how scent and music transports you back in time. If you love palma violets you will love this! It just has one of those scents that you wont find in any other perfume. Unique and fresh. Doesnt last that long but was worth the trip down memory lane......

I have purchased this blue grass. Many times from Amazon . Have been using it over 50 years . The last delivery although very good —- the perfume box was open and decided not suitable for a gift so kept it to use for myself. it was awful. Nothing like the usual blue grass awful smell and left stains on clothing it came into contact with ( white tee shirt) will not buy it again from A,mazon

When I was 16 my work colleague wore the actual perfume. I liked the eau de toilette. Still do. I am now 73.Had many different perfumes during those years, got more of this product a few years ago now as a gift. Loved it, Now having to buy it again.Still nicely packaged, easy to order and speedy delivery.Such a nice aroma for the young or the older woman.

A favourite of my Aunt, I know it is an "old fashioned" perfume, but when I saw the low price I thought I would get it, I was not disappointed. It brought back many happy memories of my late Aunt. It has a light floral, fresh smell, and really suitable for all ages. I am glad to know that I can purchase this again from Amazon. Many thanks :)

This is my Mum’s favourite perfume. It was out of stock at her normal supplier so I got it for her from you. It was a bit more expensive than she normally pays but worth it because she loves the fragrance so much. It’s a floral fragrance with some woody and spicy notes to it. The perfume arrived on time and in great condition. Thanks.

I have bought this product a number of times over the last few years for one of my sisters.She worked in a well-known high street chemist's shop for many years and loved this perfume.I can't give a definitive review of the product as I never even get to smell it!However, my sister loves it and is always delighted to receive it.

I bought this for my mum to give to a friend. Her favourite so a welcome gift.I remember this from my childhood when my very elegant aunt wore it. Like a number of your reviewers the fragrance brought back very fond memories.Perfume is such a personal choice and often reacts very differently on individuals so each to their own.

I bought this Eau de Parfume for nostalgia reasons. It was the perfume I associate with my first holiday abroad to Majorca in the 1960's. I still love it and unless my memory is failing I am picking up a slight aroma of cinnamon which I was unaware of in the 60's. If you like a light subtle perfume then this is for you.

Purchased this on behalf of my elderly mum who prefers perfumes she has used most of her adult life. This arrived very quickly and was well packaged. Although I knew I ordered 100ml spray the bottle was much larger than expected, which was a bonus. Fragrance true Blue Grass and lasts well. Very good value price wise.

I buy this for myself when I run out of the expensive perfume that I get bought for presents. I can afford this and it always gets comments. I love it. It has a lovely , clean, fragrance and is such good value. Is as good as the expensive ones, even better than some of them! Well packaged and arrived promptly
