I have bought tried & tested a lot of toys & Happy land is always a winner, I have never seen one broken happy land item as they are so well made, the doors come off with a bit of force, but this is to stop them from snapping in rough play I have been told, I bought this item for my son for xmas & its the best durable toy by far, There is nothing worse than buying something online only to find its cheap & nasty on the day when it comes out of the box & ends up in the bin not long after, never go buy price either as I have paid for expensive toys only to find they are cheap & nasty.The boat has a trapdoor & a captains quaters aas well as all the other cool bits well worth the pennys & great

Our son got bought this for his first birthday and has played with it ever since. He is now 22 months old. He takes the pirates into the bath with him too! Its had lots of play time in our house. Would recommend although he is less interested in it the older he gets so would probably suit age younger than recommended. There are no small bits so no choking hazard but still a well made toy and worth buying. Only reason it doesn't get five stars is because the doors fall off. However, our little dude is quite rough and they do slot right back on.

Purchased this for my Friend's little boy and he absolutely loves it! The package does say from 18m+ but the purchase was for his 1st birthday and he's been fine with it, nice and easy to play with and insists on taking it everywhere he goes!

Great gift for my two year old grandson. He loves playing with it and so does his four year old brother. Lots of things to open and close providing extra interest.
