This is a good quality "old fashioned" flan tin, much better in my opinion than modern, flat bottomed flan tins - in that it's shape allows a good depth of space for the filling when the flan is baked and turned over. The reason for four stars rather than five is that the tin actually measures 27.6cm and therefore required me to adjust my tried and tested recipe which caused some left over mix when using this tin.

Absolutely love this product, made fruit cake for my husband's Birthday and just the other day for some guests, cakes look great - it is easy to use, cakes came out without any problem, generally very pleased with this purchase.

great for making your own flan cases - not paying tesco for a stale case ever again - nice non stick - did butter and flour first
