This is a brilliant novelty soft toy and I bought two of them for Christmas presents this year for two very little Olaf fans. One of my intended recipients is under three but as he already has a Roar Back Henry Hugglemonster and has never attempted to open his velcro battery compartment cover I think he should be safe with this Olaf too but the recommended age is 3 plus for this toy.The battery compartment is inside a velcro opening in Olaf's back and is a plastic compartment which opens with a posidrive/Philips screw opening so you will need one when changing the batteries. This was bought for my three year old's birthday as she adores Olaf. He's a large plush figure, dressed as he is in Frozen for his song 'In Summer', with straw boater and walking stick.Olaf is a around 35cm tall and plays a clip of 'In Summer' when you press his left hand. Press it again to stop the singing. It can be a little tricky to find the button to press it but you feel for it with your finger tips and press the disc. My daughter had to be shown how to do this but grasped it quickly and was able to turn the music on and off afterwards.The plush figure is soft and cuddly. I'm rather pleased that the music plays via his hand rather than his tummy as this means that my daughter can take

A birthday gift for a friend daughter - a bit disappointed regarding when you pressed Olaf hand for him to talk it took some doing - but my friend daughter loved him and that's all that matters

Olaf himself was great. The only downside was that his singing was a bit quiet, but maybe a battery change will make him louder. Overall my niece was thrilled with him.

This was a great gift olaf sounds just as he should anyone would get enjoyment from this olaf toy the size is as described and the quality is great

Got this for Christmas for our 2 yr old granddaughter, she's a big fan of the movie so went down very well. Packed very well & delivered on time.
