This, at the end of the day is a sports game. With a twist.It is set in the future, and teams from around the world compete against each other. You start off in an arena, and the ball is a disk with a hole in the middle, this is the ball. You must grab that and throw it to your team to stop the other team getting it. To score you must chuck the disk into the hoops at either end of the pitch, of-course there a goal keeper. Now at the moment, this sounds boring, just a lame rip off of rugby, well no. See you can just kick the crap out of anyone at any time, team mate gave you a funny look? Kick him in the shins, someone wont give you the ball? Punch them and take it.It is a clever idea for a game,

This game is similar to something called "Speedball" which came out in the 90's on the Amiga.Set in the future, it's basically a really violent sports game. The moves for beating up on the opposition are good and there is a bit of variety in the moves - you can punch, kick, jump-kick, etc. and there are some special injury moves you can pull when close enough to an opposing team's player. And there's also a lot of strategy involved, especially when you start off a campaign with a new team because you can't just beat up on the opposition, they'll smash you to bits.One of the most satisfying things in this game for me is when you manage to KO a whole team by beating up on them. Not too many people know about Deathrow which is a shame since one would miss out a lot by not playing it. the grafics are great and the gameplay make it the Sppedball of the new millenium.The conquest mode is challenging and the AI is abolutely up to date and will force you to try loads of different tactics in all the different arenas. If you love sports games with a knack then Deathrow is a game you shouldn`t miss out.I have played it for about three weeks now and it hasn`t disappointed my high expaectations at all. So far this is my favorite Xbox game.

this game is one of the best action/fighting/sports games on the xbox. It is about a game of the future, called Blitz. Broadcast by Blitz Television, massive crowds gather to watch their favorite teams go at each other. The rules are simple: basically, there are no rules. You need to put a disc-kinda thing into a hoop on the opponents side, and in order to do that, you can do anything and everything to the opponent.It truly is an excellent game, and i can't do it justice in this review....buy it!

This game is brilliant had it for a while now used to play it all the time with friends but now i have finished it all i tend to play other games i still give it the odd hour or 2 a week. I wish this game was more known as it is brilliant and i hope there is another Deathrow game being planned as i would like something new like this.I would Highly recomend that you give this game a go!! well worth the money

I picked this game up cheaply simply because i wanted a new game for my xbox, but when i played it i wondered why. This game is sooo good. It's easy to get the hang of and after getting into the game thre are goodies to buy along the way. I definately recomend this game. BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
