This pen represents excellent quality and value from Cross which is a distinguished brand amongst pens. It is nicely finished in a satin type finish which I think looks a bit more tasteful than bright chrome. The pen is very comfortable to hold and well balanced to the extent that it simply glides over paper. The twist action to retract and extend the ballpoint works very well indeed too and my version was supplied with a black medium refill.To me, the Cross brand suggests a little more sophistication than some other brands in this price range of pen, plus, the quality of finish and performance are excellent. Finally, it is beautifully packed in a Cross presentation box which makes it an ideal gift.

Received today. Another Cross pen. Had a 14 karat rolled gold Cross pen which I had inherited, and lost (fell out of my works diary, and due to my deafness, didn't hear it drop!) Was so angry with myself for losing it after all these years, that I procured a replacement from e-bay, but decided that it was too good/valuable to risk losing, and so bought this Cross pen for a tenner for work use. Seems to have a similar high quality twist action, and a nice chunky feel, unlike the gold one!..and if I lose it, well it won't be the end of the world-again!

Grat pen ? the only reason I am giving a 4 star is because is a bit bigger than expected. Will be nice to show a comparison for its actual size. Everything else is great

Exceptional value for a Cross branded pen.Writes nicely and refills easily available when needed. Are packaged in a very nice box.
