Beautiful quality pen.I fell in love with this pen, it looks beautiful and the medium nib is very smooth writer. I purchased the Cross converter no. 8756 to fit this pen and Watermans harmonious green ink to fill it with. Being a first time newbie read up on how to do it on YouTube via Goulet Pens. Worked beautifully but next time I'll wear disposable gloves as I got a little ink on my fingers. I am so happy with this delightful pen, and am looking forward to trying lots of different coloured inks. I am now saving up for another colour in the botanical range as they are very addictive. I would definitely recommend this pen if you are looking for something different for your wife or girlfriend

This pen was brought for the fact that it came with a warranty and looked different enough from pens other people use that it would not be picked up by anyone by mistake. It takes a while for ink to flow and there have been a number of times that I have had to shake the pen to get the ink to flow. I would not have expected that from something that cost more than £50. But one thing I can say is that I do not have to worry about dirty fingers due to ink leakage. And on balance I don’t mind having to shake a pen to avoid the dirty fingertips.So overall a good pen that looks hardwearing.

The beautiful Hummingbird Vine patterned pen from Cross combines reliability with beauty. The design on this pen really caught my attention because it is so unusual. The flashes of orangey-red against the silver contrast in a very lively manner and animate the pen's lively pattern to its full potential. When I saw it I just had to have it. All this and the pen is a silky smooth writer too.

I bought this on behalf of a work colleague who wanted to gift the pen to his wife for her birthday without her knowledge.It arrived next day at our workplace and from what I saw of the pen and giftbox, it looked very pretty and I gather the recipient was delighted. Unfortunately, I can't say anything more as it's not my pen!

I have used fountain pen for a long time. This model by CROSS writes really well with efficient ink flow. No blotches or even false starts. Design was better than presented in the photo. Feels good to touch and light to hold and write with. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for something affordable and good too.

I treated myself to this fountain pen as it was such a good price. Lovely pen, nice to write with, the ink flows really well and doesn't dry up if the pen has been left unused for a while, unlike the Parker pens l've got. This is my 3rd Cross Fountain Pen and you can't beat them for reliability.

Beautiful pen with a small but effective smooth nib. Puts down a good amount of ink. Perfect as a daily writer. The Cross fountain pens I have are all surprisingly good writers. My Pelikans are slightly smoother but at a cost many times the price of the Cross.

A beautiful pen - writes smoothly and looks lovely. But, at the price, a converter should be included as well as a cartridge. Some of us fountain pen users like to use ink from the bottle - in all different colours.

Beautiful pen. Writes very smoothly but only with genuine Cross cartridges. So pleased with this purchase. Prompt delivery. Comes in presentation box so also ideal as a gift.

Bought as a present for my daughters 9th birthday. Lovely, good sized fountain pen and easy to hold as nice and slim. The embossed detail is very flattering.

Lovely pen design and great to write with. My daughter now has the full set if the Botanical designs. Let's hope they don't bring more designs out!
