Company of Heroes is an epic RTS(Real Time Strategy) game that has a great story and multiplayer, the story takes you through many of WWII's greatest, most serious and iconic battles beginning with the Normandy invasion of D-Day, the battles are very intense: you can hear gunfire going off everywhere, soldiers shouting all over.A nice touch to this is if a squad of soldiers are off screen and they're for example taking fire you'll hear the shouting by radio instead of just hearing their voice.The voice acting is great, alot of people who have played this game and including myself will say that the dialog is similar in performance to a great movie for example...

Company of Heroes (COH) is an Real time strategy game set after the D-Day landings at Normandy during world war two. The combat techniques and units are developed from knowledge of this period and the story/campaign mode follows 'Able company' in their campaign in Western Europe.This game is a breath of fresh air for both the RTS genre and the subject matter, considering the conveyer belt of poorly made games released in the recent period. The graphics are beautiful and horrific all at the same time, and you will watch in terror as everything is subjected to a beautiful physics system (watch a howitzer barrage for best effect).The sound effects are also terrific and will gladly match the quality

Company of Heroes is a really good game. Set against the Second World War you command troops from a Parachute unit attacking various German installations. Craftly, the games levels are set against real time events that actually happened in the War so you feel as if you are contributing to the victory. It looks the part with units well drawn. Also, the sound is excellent. I like the way you can employ tactics in this game. Its never purely about a War of Attrition. Its very enjoyable too and whilst I'd have liked the game to have lasted longer, its well worth playing.

HAVING JUST GOT MY FIRST LAPTOP I WAS LOOKING FOR A GOOD WAR GAME POINT AND CLICK .READING REVIEWS ETC I CHOSE COMPANY OF HEREOES. A GREAT PURCHASE THATS SO EASY TO GET ENGROSSED IN . EVEN AFTER YOU FINISH THE INITIAL STORY YOU FEEL NATURALLY COMPELLED TO EITHER REPLAY MISSIONS TO GAIN EXTRAS OR TRY A SKIRMISH ,EITHER WAY YOU KNOW THAT SEVERAL HOURS OF YOUR TIME WILL EVAPORATE. IT TICKS ALL THE BOXES AND IS THE BEST OF THE SERIES IN RELATION TO THE REVIEWS OF THE OTHER GAMES

This is a very good game, though dont compare it to your typical WW2 RTS, its a little more on the arcadey side and little in the way of strategy, but it doesnt really spoil it. The great thing about this game is the action which is non-stop destruction and excellent explosions and models which can be zoomed right up close - real eye candy. Only negative is its pretty short, but multiplayer has a remedy for that. Definitely a good purchase ;)

I would say this strategy game is in a league of its own compared to all the others I have played. I love the realistic WW2 setting rather than it being some strange futuristic thing that you can't relate to. The battle scenes are very realistic and great graphics. There could be more missions though. I finished it quite quick.

Found CoH absolutely great from the start and love the online play with all my mates! Recommned for anyone! 10/10! Well done THQ
