Ciroc French Vanilla Flavoured Vodka is extremely well-presented in a very tall, chic, eye-catching bottle and as such would make a lovely gift.As to the vodka itself- it is absolutely delicious. I very rarely drink spirits, neat - except for brandy - but this is the exception to my rule. Poured over a very large, round ice cube, this is a very smooth drink, indeed. Up to now, I have only tried it mixed with Dr Pepper and also with ginger ale and I enjoyed both; though to be fair, I think I prefer it just on the rocks.I looked at some recipes online and found there are so many, making this a very versatile spirit. I would imagine that this would be a lovely drink for a summer evening as a lot of recipes contain fruit juices - or for a stronger drink,

Delivered next day even though I had chosen the free delivery option which was estimated to take 6-7 days. Arrived in perfect condition. The bottle is beautiful and heavy, which imparts an impression of high quality. It’s my first Ciroc purchase, and due to the price I was hesitant, but Amazon was £10 cheaper than the shops and also offered the flavour I needed (to make cocktails) that I couldn’t find anywhere else.As for the product itself, I’ve not tried it neat as I’m not that kind of drinker, but it smells of vanilla, not alcohol (a good thing, in my opinion). I needed it to replicate a raspberry bellini that I had in Browns a few weeks ago, which according to their menu had this exact vodka in it.

Wow! The bottle did not last long is the first thing I can say, which is a testament to how good it tasted. I haven't been able to drink vodka neat for about 15 years, but I started off with a small amount in a glass with no mixer and I was surprised how easy it is to drink, and no burn either. I've only mixed it with coke, all it needs is a small amount and the combination just makes you keep wanting to come back for more. The more vodka you add, the better it tastes, which is probably why my bottle didn't last very long.The best vodka I've tasted and without doubt I shall be ordering another bottle of this, and probably many more.

I'd never tried a vodka made from grapes before, and although I quite like flavoured vodkas I usually go for citrus (Grey Goose Orange or Citron) or coffee flavours rather than sweeter, more dessert-like ones. Although it's a departure from my usual choices, this new Ciroc French Vanilla vodka is delicious. The vodka has a very smooth, clean finish and the contrast of the tang of booze with the creamy custard/ice cream notes of vanilla is interesting. The vanilla flavour is a really harmonious addition to either creamy cocktails such as a White Russian, or fruit-based blends, but this also stands up well neat or over ice.

I'm partial to a Vodka and Tonic, and never thought of adding vanilla to the mix, but it makes this a very pleasant evening drink to unwind with, really rather nice! The vanilla is just strong enough to taste without overpowering the drink, I thought it might be a little too strong before I tried it and maybe taste like a chemical afterthought, but no this works really well, a really pleasant tipple especially over Christmas, so if you have a relative that loves Vodka, this may make the perfect seasonal gift, not just a bottle of Vodka this a Vodka with a really nice surprise!

I am rather fond of Vanilla Vodka and it is the only flavoured Vodka I regularly drink although normally buy the Absolut brand when I see it. This is really tasty with a distinct vanilla flavour without being too sweet. Great with soda, lemonade or on its own but best with ice cream soda!I preferred this one to Absolut as the vanilla flavour is more subtle although it is a lot more expensive I suppose you get what you pay for. That said, it is currently at a very good price on Amazon and I will keep an eye out for any offers.

As a big fan of vanilla I am delighted to have the opportunity to taste this new flavoured Ciroc vodka.The vodka is very smooth, as you would expect. I am happy to drink it neat, but it also mixes well with just about anything. The only limit is you own imagination. It is a shame that the bottle is not as stunning as it appear in the marketting and it arrives in plain cardboard packaging.I am not aware of there being any other vanilla flavoured grape vodka which will make this a unique gift to be giving this Christmas.

Grey Goose - my favourite vodka for drinking neat and straight from the freezer, is also French so I was keen to try this! Now, vanilla vodka is not going to be to everyone's taste, but this is an excellent example. Its extremely rich and smooth - drunk very very cold, its almost creamy tasting. The flavour is very natural and while sweet, not cloying. I also tried using it in a Snowball Martini this Christmas - combine this with a splash of advocaat and sprinkle cinnamon on top. Yum!

This is really nice Vodka. Being derived from French grapes, rather than wheat or potatoes, it has a refined flavour and is very smooth. The vanilla flavouring reminded me more of custard than vanilla, but still very pleasant.I prefer having this neat. It's certainly of sufficient quality to enjoy on its own and I've yet to find anything the vanilla flavouring goes well with.

A vanilla bean flavoured vodka from France. The soft vanilla, from various sources, adds a subtle, creamy back taste to the clean, sharp vodka and the end result is rich but not overly sweet. Makes a good mixer but personally I prefer this vodka neat with ice because I enjoy the discreet, nutty flavour. Smooth and rich with a real kick at 37.5 % Vol. Indulgent and very smooth.

I usually drink "ordinary" Vodka - this is made from grapes and then flavoured with Vanilla. It makes for a different flavour combination and one which is pleasing. The vodka is from France. The vanilla gives a soft, subtle, creamy quality to the sharp vodka. This is a rich flavour and without being too sweet. This would be a good mixer but also neat. Strong..

I’m not a vodka drinker and only buy it for other people and for using in cocktails, but this vodka is delicious! It’s a lovely looking bottle on our ‘booze’ rack and tastes far superior to Absolut vanilla. A new must have to make my favourite Porn Star Martinis! I suspect it will taste nice with other mixers, but yet to try....maybe this weekend!

It's my personal favourite and the best vodka on the market. The bottle was finished very quickly. Would highly recommend this drink to any vodka lovers out there who want something more high class. After drinking a lot of it it's hard to tell it's even vodka, tastes more like cream soda. 11 out of 10.

Whilst I wasn't convinced of the taste of this vanilla vodka on its own, as an ingredient in various cocktails it is absolutely delicious and adds a sweet creamy undertone to many different combinations. A big hit with those who like sweet cocktails.

Love this. It's very smooth, not too sweet (although it's clearly sweetened) and the vanilla flavour seems natural and subtle. This is a great drink to sip on its own - no cloying mouth feel - as well as to use in cocktails.
