We ended up getting this ball pool for my sons 1st birthday after 2 of the frog ones ripped because of a bad design. my little boy loves it! only problem is it takes LOADS of balls to fill.. we put 200 it to start with & they didnt even cover the floor so we bought a huge bag & filled it right to the top.. there must easily be 600-800 balls in there but it is full to the brim, you will definitely need atleast 3-4 packs of the balls that argos sell to get a decent depth. Hours of fun for all ages

Was abit dubious about getting this at first, but when I got it I was pleased, it definitely needs 6-7 bags of balls to fill it. I got this for my one year old and it's larger than I expected so one or two bags just won't cover it,I bought 6 bags and it was filled nicely. It's really easy to put away as it's a pop up,only thing is two of the plastic rods for the sides were too long,I had to struggle to get them in, but all in all it took a few minutes to set up and my son loves it,very pleased!

The ball pit was exactly what I was looking for, easy to go up and easy to put away (apart from gathering the balls all back up, but I'm so short of space it is essential to fold it away when not in use)Using at the moment with 300 balls as it's only for the baby (1y/o) just now, 300 doesn't anywhere near fill this, gives us an ideal covering of the base to allow a baby to play in it, but for older children to properly enjoy the ball pit for its designed purpose you will require more balls.

Was a bit sceptical after reading the mixed reviews however I made sure it came with all the parts before leaving the store (was ordered on a click n collect basis). It’s actually a Christmas present for my nephew so haven’t got his reaction yet but I like it and I’m sure he’s going to love it. 4 bags of balls are sufficient. I even bought a bean bag cover so all the balls can be easily stored. FYI the bags can then be used in the bathroom for holding all the bathroom toys!

The ball pit is quite roomy and deep. Bigger than I imagined it would be. When my son's cousins came around it easily fit all 3 babies. I will say you will need at least 2 bags of balls, maybe more if you want it to be quite full. I used 2 but could easily do with more. Wish i had bought this for my son earlier as he's now 1 and doesn't really like being kept contained for long. I'd recommend buying as soon as baby can sit up unaided.

So I bought this for my cat to have her babies in, which she did but then she hid them all behind the sofa so it hasn't been used much yet! When they are waddling about all over the place I will put them back in it though! I'm certain it works well as a ball pit and my 11 year old son managed to sit in there with plenty of room so perfect for smaller people! It's bright and colourful and good quality, good value for money!

kids love it - need about 4 bags (400 balls) for decent coverage. You could get away with 3, but I got 4 and was glad I did. It's suitable size for a couple of kids - we got it to use for our daughters 2nd birthday - had about 8 x 2yo's running around, they loved it. Soft sides make it easy for the kids to get in and out themselves, I was a little worried about the sticks that hold up the sides, but they were fine.

My 2 year old Great Niece loved this! I bought 400 balls to go in it but I think 600 would have been better! the kids didn't mind though and her mum was over the moon that her garden was covered in hundreds of coloured balls (not!). Lol that's the best part of being an aunt - buying presents that make a mess / noise and leaving them to get on with it! Don't expect it to last forever but it was worth the money x

This product looks great, has bright colours and a strong shape. It was larger than we expected which is a bonus, plenty of room for our little one to play in. It does take lots of balls to fill, so far we have 400 inside and it is about half way. It is ideal because it’s not going to burst like the inflatable kind and we found it easy to assemble too. We would recommend this as a fun and easy to use toy.

Good item, my son loves it.We bought three packs of Argos balls to go with it, they fill the base of the pool but it doesn't seem enough, we will buy another three to go with them. The pool folds down very flat and small and we put the poles in one of the bags that hold the balls for storage purposes. The pool is a good size, slightly too large for my son's room but a good size for the living room.

my 8 yr old son loves this for playing in relaxing in and sometimes calming down in it helps him with his disabilities and makes him happy sometimes he reads in it aswell we needed about 4 lots of balls but thatst to be expected with most ball pits we bought them gradually. this is easy to put together and take apart after play. is good for 1 junior child or 2 infants. great seller and service too.

My 15 month old loves playing in this ball pit, although we had to buy 6 bags of balls to fill it properly (some people had mentioned they bought 2 bags and that was enough but we ended up having to buy more because 2 was not enough). He can climb in and out easily on his own and since it is soft cloth all the way around he doesn't hurt himself. Easy to set up, but we haven't folded it up yet!

The ball pit is perfect for my little girll, she is 11 months only but she loves playing all day long with her toys and balls. In the moment I opened the pit her face got very smiley and happy. The price is perfect, I think it is a good bargain for your child fun! I looked up for it in several stores but at Argos I found the price and the quality thats fits my taste! Thank you!!!

Purchased this for my nephew's first birthday. He and other youngsters aged up to 3 found it to be great fun. The plastic poles that hold the pit up worried me in that a child could hurt themselves climbing in and out of the pit but they poles move in a way that the child is not at risk. The only issue with the pit is that it needs a number of bags of balls to make it fun!
