We are absolutely thrilled with our Rose Petal Cottage. Luckily my husband and I are a seasoned flat pack duo, as it definitely takes two to build .... and a few cross words, but we finished building it within an hour. Getting the main body of the sheeting over the easy assembled frame was a little tricky but once it was all put together (the seams our tough so abit of brut force didn't make them split), our daughter whooped for joy and now we can't get her out of it! The little cooker is adorable. However, for the high price of the kit, it really should have included the washing machine and sink unit too. All in all,when you see the exemplary handy work that has gone into it with all the little details you can then appreciate the price of it.The large door (one whole side of the house) is really useful as Soph immediately filled the cottage with a whole load of her teddies and dollies , including her life size cuddly Labrador and all her toy kitchen equipment - so having the capacity to 'spill out' is brilliant.The little pictures and details on the outside of the house are gorgeous. Everywhere you look there is a little surprise, such as lady birds, birds, buttons, ribbons, bows, roses, hearts etc - everything girls adore - and painted in very pretty colours. On the inside there is a log fire, a mantlepiece (although you can't put anything on it as its too flimsy) a little pocket to put our family pictures, there is a smaller front door with a letter box, little windows, murals of a brolly, keys, a cooking shelf - nothing has been missed...... even a door mat where Soph instinctively takes off her shoes and places them neatly on the mat - if only she did that at home! We have had some fun looking and playing 'hunt the' or 'count the' which makes her appreciate her house even more and it involves the family too. Its a very good educational toy in many aspects.Rose Petal Cottage is a very welcome addition to our playroom, especially during this very wet Summer holiday. She has had great fun playing 'house' with her friends, I could sit and watch them for ours - adorable! We are so proud of the way that Sophie has taken to the cottage, in more ways than one - its a fantastic toy which will last for many years to come. Thinking WAY AHEAD - Rose Petal Cottage is definitely a keeper for our future grandchildren! 5 stars from us!

It was easy to put together and didn't take much time at all. It is really well made and sturdy, meaning it will last for many years. Once up and ready, there was no stopping them and they were amazed that it was a little house just for them. The cottage is very well designed with a cute door and window to peep through. It is very girlie and decorated with flowers, butterflies, ladybirds and even has pictures of window flower boxes,a trellis and a bird feeder on the side which makes it seem even more real. Inside it is also quite realistic with a mirror, mantelpiece and picture frame slot for a photo which is sweet. It is a good size, surprisingly big and easily moveable, for example today we had it outside which the girls loved. Unlike other houses the front of the house opens up as well as the side door making it easily accessible and a wider range of play experiences to happen. For example both myself and the girls grandparents have been able to get inside and be part of the game (mums and dads, cafes, schools you name it!) We love the cooker and we have filled it with other kitchen and home equipment as well as many dolls and teddies. This is a great play house which our girls will have many fun times for years to come.

I have tried to find s way to contact the seller direct for feedback but can't find a contact so hopefully this will get a response?The Rose Petal Cortage is absolutely lovely, great size, good quality and pretty colours (not too lurid). Bought for my three your old and she adores it as does my five year old so lots of mileage especially for a taller girl like my daughter. The way it opened out means the kids can create a whole den area which they really like. Th e only problem is that the door is much too small for the frame and so consequently doesn't close and is in ours completely redundant and we have had to put the cottage against the wall covering the ill fitting door and just using thefront opening side.This is a real shame as I am hoping to use it as a tent in the summer and we need access to the door especially as my little ones like the idea of using the letter box which is in the door for playing post offices. All in all we love it but would appreciate a response about the door from the seller.

Overall really pleased with the cottage. We have it for our 2 year old who loves to play in kitchens and play "cafe" so this went down really well. She was speechless when it was unveiled (which was really lovely), but she quickly ran in and shut the door to her new hideaway. Lots of time is spent with us outside the window whilst she serves us through the window.There is lots of attention to detail and particularly like the little clear pocket inside the door you can slip in a few family pics to make it "like home"!My husband built it by himself in about 45 mins. A few fiddly bits but fairly straightforward (easy for me to say!) There is a magnet on the front door so it easily shuts and a little letter box.The whole side opens up and secures with velcro which makes it more spacious for my 5 year old to join her playing.

Our 2 year old daughter loves her Rose Petal Cottage! She was utterly delighted when she saw it (assembled by us in advance), straight in and door shut! It is very pretty playhouse with lovely decorative details inside and out. The oven is a winner and within minutes our daughter was 'baking' and then of course bringing all her little dollies and friends in for tea etc. She has played very happily since and I look forward to seeing her play with friends in it soon. Assembly was straight forward apart from inserting the frame into the cottage shell which was a bit fiddly.Have spotted that there are some sweet additional kitchen appliances available washing machine etc.Would certainly recommend Rose Petal Cottage to friends

My 3 year old girl absolutely loves her little cottage. It has been such a good thing for her to have as its really encouraged her to do lots of roll play, especially when a friend comes to play. You can either have the whole side open which is the same concept as a dolls house or you can close this side and just use the front door. The front door even has its own little letter box which provides even more entertainment! The inside has a mirror and a space to put a picture in as well as a mantle piece so that they can make it their own. The cottage even comes with its own cooker too with dials that make the rights noises! It is so pretty to look at too and looks great in her bedroom.The perfect present for a little girl.

I received this cottage for my daughters 3rd birthday, my partner put it together the night before it took him 30minutes (although he does do a lot of flat pack) he said the instruction were very clear and straight forward. The product itself is double skinned which means no poles are seen. The cottage itself has a good attention to detail, my daughter loves posting letters through the letter box and updating the picture above the fire place. There's room for her and a couple of friends to play comfortably a couple of months on and it is still used a number of times throughout the day. I cannot fault this product and look forward to purchasing more from the range.

Since getting Rose Petal Cottage 6 weeks ago our 4 year old daughter has spent every available minute inside it. We set it up in her room as her own little den that she can close the door to and have total privacy which she and her friends love. They sit in it and read to each other, play at being postmen delivering letters to the cottage and also with the accessories can pretend to cook meals and clean the house just like mum and dad do.It was easy to assemble and is really well built and very durable.She insists on sleeping in it and we have put her in her own bed at night and found her asleep in Rose Petal Cottage by the morning.Thoroughly recommended toy.

We bought this years ago for my daughter - it is the most played with toy we have ever bought so I thought I'd write a review now, years after I bought it :-) She's now 10 and still uses it to build dens with. My son also still plays in it. They make dens out of all sorts of things as this is usually part of some mega den - sometimes just using the frame and blankets. Best money we've ever spent on a toy! It's took some battering as the liked to sit in it then flip it over into a boat, clambering in and out of it. Surprised it's still intact.

This is my daughter Rosie playing in the Rose Petal Cottage who has just turned 3 years old! She absolutely loves it and spends a lot of her time in it pretending to cook mummy lots of nice food!As well as this she also likes to hide in it quite often and calls for me to come and find her!Her 5 year old cousin came over to play the other day and the two of them spent a good couple of hours playing nicely together in it.I would definitely recommend this product and am looking to buy the extra bits to go in it very soon.

This is absolutely lovely! The frame is sturdy, easy to erect (coloured coded step by step guide) and the canvas fits like a glove. The attention to detail on the artwork is not only interesting for enquiring minds, but also looks so pretty. Our girls love playing in this. The added extra design of the opening side panel extends the imagination and certainly with our girls, means that they can get everything they want into their cottage, including Granny! It looks fab in the playroom!

A gorgeous play cottage and unlike previous play houses we have had in the past this one is really sturdy. It took my father and husband approximately 30 minutes to build.The attention to detail is fantastic especially the photo frame which makes it very homely.My 4 year old uses the window as a serving hatch for the cakes she has baked in the oven.We will be purchasing the additional items of the kitchen set and stool and table. I will definately recommend this product.

Lovely playhouse, my daughter is 3 and is going to freak out in the morning when she see 's it....I can't wait!! Bigger than I expected and fairly easy to put together. Sturdy frame, looks like it will last. Side door is a bit wonky but it's no big deal. Cooker is ok, strong cardboard frame with plastic lid and door opens on front. Overall I'm really pleased with it at a discounted price :)

Fantastic play cottage. My children (2 and 4) love it and played happily all morning in it (a rare occurrence in our house!). Great design, sturdy and very pretty. Very clear instructions and diagrams. Took two of us about half an hour to build (and no arguments!). Great size for playing in and my two love the side opening. It is quite large so is ideal for a playroom or large bedroom.

I initially saw the price of this and baulked at it.However buy it. It's very good quality and the detail is superb. It out performs any other similar play house in terms of detail and design and has given our 2 year old daughter hours of fun.Just be warned. Allow yourself over 30 minutes to assemble it without your 2 year old standing over you!
